Hey believe me, if pushing buttons on a computer would remove honeysuckle from the woods, I'd be all over that. Anyway, hopefully Cliff Drive will be more to your liking after the improvements and reconfiguration.

Well, since there are only a few replies out of 170 views, I'm cancelling this work day due to lack of interest. I just don't feel like having to commit to setting a day aside for 3 people to show up. Thanks anyway to those who offered to be there. Work will continue at the normal, off-and-on pace by the usual suspects, maybe.

Again, the tires/trash on #12 are items I picked up from down the slope behind the tee pad and placed there for P&R. They know about them already.
All that trash on #17, I saw it, and it's just more sh1t than I care to deal with by myself.
robm, I will PM you maybe Sunday or Monday morning, and let you know if I can be out there Tuesday. If we can meet out there, we'll try to get as much of that trash picked up as possible, then we'll go get some food and bevvies on the club.

General Banter / Cliff Drive Work Day, This SUNDAY 4/7/2013!!!

The workday for 4/7/2013 is going down at Cliff Drive this Sunday morning and I will be out there by 9am at the latest, probably working for 4 hours or so. Hope to see some new faces out there to help carve out these new holes.
Items we'll be focusing on include honeysuckle removal from a new hole location along the road between #9 and #17, as well as work on two additional new holes in the woods between #2 and #12. Might even finish the lengthening of #6 while we're at it.
Bonus if you can bring chainsaws, pick axes, lopping shears, etc. Gloves and safety glasses probably wouldn't hurt to bring as well. Anything to help with honeysuckle removal and carving out new fairways in the woods.

Up by 12 tee there were a bunch of tires and downed branches and 12's fairway was pretty littered in general. The wooded holes were actually in pretty good shape from what I remember....
Okay, that stuff was gathered up from other spots on the course last week, P&R has been notified and is supposed to come get it. Seems like they should have gotten to it by now. Thanks Andy!

So the hanging basket is okay for a PDGA league but not tourneys? Either way, Jack would have never allowed the hanging basket to be played during the first Cliff Drive PDGA league. Hopefully he won't be too angry about it.
