Bag Tags / Bag Tag Sticker Lost #293
« on: July 15, 2012, 11:35:07 AM »
I just grabbed my disc golf bag and was showing a friend when i noticed the sticker on the bag tag was missing. It's #293, which is really high but I am upset. What do I do?

Last course I played was USM, but I don't know if it was missing before that or when it was lost.

Thanks Rick.  This Saturday I am going to save my arm.  A buddy and I are playing all 3 at Smithville on Sunday at 6 am and I don't want to hammer my liver with more than two ibuprofen.  You are more than welcome to join us though for Sunday's marathon.

I might be able to play one round but my dog has a Vet appointment on Sunday, so I need to be back to get him for that.

No takers so I went out alone at SMP.  #1 tee was jammed with people.  Slid in with a threesome and had a great evening with great people.  One of the things I like about this sport is most everyone is cool to play with.

I always have fun at SMP, and I usually play alone myself. I might be available Saturday for a round or two, if you want someone to play!

Thanks guys.  I try and play NPL at Rosedale as much as I can to get pointers from better players.  It really doesn't matter if I throw 12 over I always have a blast playing( although it's a he'll of a lot better when u finish under).

Congrats Aaron, I can't wait to throw that good. My best round right now is +13 but I have only been playing a few weeks. I should've had a +7 at Rosedale monday but a couple holes screwed me up, getting stuck in the woods and some bad putts. Keep at it though! If you ever want to play I work during the week but I am free after 530pm everyday of the week and weekends I am off. Just send me a message or something, I am usually on the forum!

I am going to try and make Swope next week, if it's still going on there that is!!

Please let us know!

Bummer, would have come out,  but I was out of town all week.

A few people ate, but I waited to finish the food until people started arriving. I had tons of Brat Burgers left over and some roasted corn on the cob. I will do it again sometime!!

I know I can't throw a disc very well, but I sure can grill up some food before hand HAHA

Cool. I work up near Rosedale and play it after work quite often, though usually at 330 or 4.

Here's a tip I wish I would've had when I started: Throw a Roc, throw it often, and learn to control it. Many modern drivers mask throwing errors which impedes your ability to associate particular actions with specific results. If the disc you're throwing exposes  your mistakes you are more likely to learn from them and to get better faster.

I played Rosedale in the NPL. I had a good time. Right now I am throwing the Star Valkyrie, which DGW recommended. I have the Valkyrie, Banshee and Avenger SS for my drivers. I have a Buzz for mid range and two putters I use. I will look into the ROC because I have heard good things about it.

What courses do you live close to?

I basically live around them all...I live by Zona Rosa off 152, I mainly play USM, Shawnee Mission, Wy Co (which I keep getting my arse handed to me) and I have played Rosedale. Most of the courses are like 30-40 mins away but I work on Fort Leavenworth until 5pm on weekdays and I have weekends off...

What part of your game are you looking to improve?  I may be able to help you.

Mainly my drives right now...I was in contact with CD and He has offered lessons. Hopefully we can find the time with work and everything!!

I got some drinks to include water and miller lite. I'm staged in the shelter where we all meet up every Friday! Come out and enjoy the weather and possibly get some practice throws in!! Contact me at 913-704-9090 or come out!!

Peter is great about posting the scores.  If you check on the Shawnee Mission section of the board all of the those threads that just have numbers are the league results.  You can get an idea about the weekly turn out and the scores that you need to throw to win.

Oh I am not worried about winning LOL I just started playing and just looking to play and learn more!
