And everything is set up really short so less throws and less distance to walk.  It wont take long to play 36 holes.  If it is a crowded course, you might wait longer on the groups in front of you.

One of the things I have gotten real good at is yelling "FORE!" Haha Ok, thanks for clarifying that for me. Can't wait for this event!

Oh too easy...I know I will be back by 9am, if I am driving. It's a 13.5 hour drive from KCMO to Detroit, so if I leave by 6pm I should be good. 36 holes at swope won't be too bad, should only take 3 hours most.

I just realized something, I will be driving back from Detroit on the 22nd overnight. What time does this event start? I am going to try my hardest to make it, but if not I still want a players pack!

Yeah I am going to Detroit in a couple weeks but its for work and I don't think we will have any extra time to play some DG, but I will have them on me just in case. Know of any places around Warren, MI you would go try or recommend?

Being relatively new to the sport, I absolutely love reading these posts. Living the high life! I appreciate the posts and the reviews of courses. I am going to have to add some of these to my bucket list to play! I have only played DG in three states, if you consider traveling across the KS/MO border, and also played in Northern Minnesota (which is the place where I got hooked onto DG). St Paul does have some beautiful courses, I can't remember the one course we played at in St Paul, but it was just like Rosedale Down Under but multiplied by 5. Some very tough shots, but great to work with your mid range and putters.

I can't wait to work on my game some more and eventually make it to the AM Championships.

Loomis thanks for the posts and congrats on making it home safe. Hopefully I will be able to run across you on the DG course some day and meet ya!

I went past the guys finishing up the work yesterday at Rosedale. I want to say how much I appreciate it, if I would've known they were going to be working, I would've volunteered to help.

Down under is looking really good and the deep tee pad on Hole #1 is nice. Keep up the good work and if you ever need any help on weekends, let me know!

I won't ever hit an ace on WyCo....I barely get 5's on the holes HAHA

Tonight is Friday night glow at Rosedale.  This is a random draw pro/am doubles.  The attendance is increasing the and everyone has a blast.  See you tonight.  Draw at 8:20 and tee around 8:30pm.

If weather cooperates, I might make an appearance. Never played Glow before, but bought a few lights. Looking forward to it! Is it the $4 entry and $1 ace fun for this also?

Jamidanger, it was great to meet you last night, sorry I didn't sign up for League. I was just trying to figure the course out but I shot a 64 and would have tied for 1st in Advanced.

I will be sure to get out there one thursday and throw some disc's with you all!

Rain and high winds haven't stopped me and bnorris before! We watched Swope clear out as we finished up HAHA It looks like rain all weekend though

My second league night back after being on the IR list, and my scores continue to improve.  Also, the good competition in the Am ranks was a fun battle.  As for the open, it was all CD, winning by two strokes over Jake B.  Thanks to everyone who came out last night and played on a warm (cooler than it has been) night out at Swope DGC!
