KC Disc Golf Divas will be at SMP this weekend during Frostbreaker serving hot soups & cold sandwiches for lunch. Suggested minimum donation is $5. All monies collected will support KC Diva Spring Feeva all-womens tournament this May.

That right there is someone taking initiative.  Well played ladies.

The Frostbreaker will be meeting at Shelter #1 which is across from the parking lot near Hole #7 and #8.  You must checkin in between 8am and 8:45am.  Please spread the word to your friends who might not see this.

Also based on previous years, there is a good chance that we will have less than a 1 hour lunch so be prepared for a shorter lunch time.

For those who do not know, take a right when entering the main entrance off of Renner Blvd., as opposed to a left that you would normally take to get to the first hole. You will run into it no problem.

Will there be a bunch of fancy collector automobiles in that lot?

Halo has a few rounds in it, not many, no major dings or divots. Top has a tree scuff. Bottom still has flashing. No ink.
Trespass FR is 10/10 never been flown, no ink.

I would consider $22 for both.

Deal.  Message me the arrangements for pick up.

Interested in the opto Halo and fr Tresspass.  Has either ever been thrown and does either have "Utz" inked on it?

Any idea about the approximate location or what hole you last saw it at PC Dan?

Utz, we all make mistakes. It's Ok.  How about a round on Sunday?

I play there a lot and see your point. However, Old Pike is a private club, so take it up with them. The KCFDC cannot make improvements there. Maybe the annual 50 bucks could go towards tee signs.

Having said that, there have been many problems with vandalism and theft after dark. There is foot traffic that goes through there other than disc golfers. Mike T. made aware of the lights that were stolen and just random destruction. It sucks.

DD and Old Pike worked together on the bridge and the donation box though. And since they are made of steel, I think they will stay put :)

That is very unfortunate as the novelties that were put in place I am sure had meaning or at least were unique in their own right.  I recall a telescope and someone telling me it was no longer there.  I presume a vandal, I also recall some birds or owls or something like that up top on the back 9 in the woods.  That place is very unique.

a stack used condoms on the ground

Reminds me of a tournament name I came up with while playing Swope rightfully named, Gloves and Rubs.  Two of the most common lost or discarded items found while playing that track.  Maybe it's where I throw?

Good points Jack.  It is one of the coolest layouts for courses in the city.  I don't see this as a complaint but more of an observation and awareness post.  It is a combination of the demographic and disregard for the general public's safety by those engaging in such activity.  Random gunfire by irresponsible idiots cannot be predicted or controlled.  Avoiding areas which are conducive to such activity is really the only measure a person can take to ensure their safety where it occurs.

I am sure the last thing anyone wants here is a member of the disc golf community, or any person for that matter, killed accidentally or intentionally by an irresponsible and senseless act of idiotic behavior.

Please don't take this personally.

Just another reason why WYCO is the greatest course in the world.

A few groups cleaned house.  Two groups tied for last with a score of 54.  Perfect weather.

I just went out today and walked around the course, looks great! The course looks nearly done and pretty much playable! I've heard the baskets are ready to be put in, when do you suspect the baskets will go in the ground?

Thanks for making this happen Scott and all of those who participated in any part of it.
