we play for fun. The lost disc was an addition to losing 3 discs in the week out in Olathe, and that combined with the fact I should have been spending more time with the family made me less than enjoyable.....The missed putt on 8, UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, like Lucy pulling the ball from Charlie Brown....(See we are old, we make references many others don't get, that is part of the fun of playing with old age protected, division protected, gender protected people. We leave others out! )
........And Jack is correct. 1.5 hours minimum inbetween rounds please. We were rushed. Ty.
I am not saying we need 1 1/2 hours between but at least enough drive time to get where we are eating and back to the courses. In this event, 1:20 would have been perfect. In cases where you know the drive time between places, say WW and Swope, you add 25 minutes, but that drive offers plenty to eat in between so it makes sense.
Playing Top and Bottom of Rosie for example, 1:10 would make sense, as you should be able to get somewhere within 5-10 minute drive, then an hour to eat. I think you can see where we are going with this. Having solely an hour in between rounds just isn't enough time to eat unless you go all fast food, and many of us don't want to do that.
As for trash cans....well that is a City thing, not an event thing....so Doug is on his own for that. Most fun I've had at a tourney.thats cause you played Am Masters.
It is because he played both rounds with me and got to watch me get a 2 on the pond shot instead of me watching him get it!

Went out there this morning and was super upset that all the work on 12, 15 & 16 was done. Nothing to do but pick up trash.
Trash on hole 12 around the pad is the only area I would consider in need. Playing tomorrow morning and will report back.
Thanks for all the help.
