Haha the easy side has some good players. I got options! Jay said his dad is taking him to the chiefs game on Sunday so he is planning on Saturday unfortunately for the DU leaguers

There was some confusion on my previous post. I meant for sanctioned events only if there is a voucher opportunity and I realize now that some will offer and some will not. Lets be honest I know I'm not ready for open yet but I want to be and so that's why I posed this question. I want to play in the open division because I know that will make me better. I wanted to get an answer because leading up to am worlds I'd like to play a few open tournaments to get a feel for the added pressure that may come with playing against better people and am worlds is the biggest bagger tourney ever. I want to Introduce myself to this level of conpetition due to my drive to get better.

Do you get the value of cash in a voucher form if you turn down the cash?

I think it is important to have the challenge for the pros, but how many pros do we really have in town? Enough to justify cost and expense for long hard courses specifically for the pros?

Could it be possible that Kansas City doesn't produce many pros because of the lack of very difficult courses? I know many pros come from California and Charlotte where tough courses exist. I personally would like to see a really challenging course be put in the ground not just because I am becoming a somewhat strong advanced player and want to play it but I would like to challenge myself to continue to improve and throw some par 4 holes to work on different aspects of the game that I will be introduced to in am worlds. I love Kansas City and am blessed to learn this sport in such a convenient city but as I see my game improve I want to be challenged. Maybe that's just me.

Naturally Mizzou goes and loses to spoil the day. But what a great day of disc golf. Glad we started this tradition. This is a tourney that should last. EAST SIDE!!
Agreed. Great tournament and hope it lasts! Thanks to captains as well for volunteering. Hope to play in it again
