Oh i wouldn't go in the water. Silted in very soft bottom. Not to mention all the snapping turtles and water snakes and at least one zombie beaver ( well maybe not the last one but just because it hasn't been seen doesnt mean its not there under the surface waiting). Dont throw a clear silver metal flake disc ( got that joe).thats fishing colors.
Sounds awesome. Im game. Anytime. Finally somebody wants to play 3 minutes from my house. Wyco and i missed the teater today. Swear i thought i heard crying on the wind out there. Sounded like "joooeeee joooeeee"
If i can get out there saturday i will see if i can retrieve your teebird for you Bailey. I will call you if your numbers on your disc or if not i will post it here. I live in baldwin and worked on the course trimming what trees they would let me and worked with them where to put the teepad sighs. Ive been trying to get them to mow the fairways wider. Glad to hear they did a little anyway. Do you live in the area?
There was i guy taking photos at waterworks on sunday morning. He said he was on the kcfdc board i thought. So dont know his name but i have seen him around before. He told me the photos would be on the facebook page. I have not been able to find them. Does anyone know anything about this. If someone has any knowledge of where to find the photos please post it here. Who knows you may be in one yourself. Thanks
So your saying throw in the street before mando you throw from where you went out till you pass the mando? Thats not what dick and the rule says. Confusing. Which way is it makes a difference how you play the hole in my opinion
Is the mando on #17 at waterworks on the right tree? I thought we had a similar thing on that hole last year and they moved it back one tree south before the tournament started. Rules read if you miss mando or go out of bounds go to dropzone. What if you throw out of bounds before you reach mando tree? Do you throw from where you went out till you make it around the mando or go to the dropzone, its not clear in the book they posted on the forum. Im not b%tching just looking for clarification on these points. Its going be a get kcwo.
i threw my baby blue breakout in the pond on #8 at mclouth. 3' or so out from pond bank near a log sticking out of the water just right of the basket. If you find it my name and number is on it. Thanxs
I think you should give a renegade a chance. Has great glide and a slight s curve to it. I find it handles wind surprisingly well too. The escape is a great disc too. I like mine. Also the new breakout im finding to be a disc worth throwing. My favorite weights are from 153g to 165g. Hope you find this helpful. Good luck with your disc choices.
I swung by the baldwin lake disc golf course yesterday. Looks like the city is finally taking an interest in making the course the best it can be. They have been cutting trees, repairing the baskets that the vandals keep tearing up and had been mowed. They put in a beautiful fence to keep people from driving on the course and ripping out the basket. No word on tee pads of yet but would guess there in the works for this year. So if you get the time and want to play a different course from your normal ones its worth the trip down to check it out. The head of the rec dept. Lives across the street from me so post here what you think (good or bad or suggestions) and i will be sure to pass it on to him.
