I could bring my sub pump from my basement. Or a shop-vac.

Brilliant! I think I would love to see some of my old dics. I really miss them.

Even better we can have a bucket day out there.  Have all the disc golfer bring a 5 gallon bucket and drain it in a few hours.  I'm sure the Parks people would be cool with it.

Walked it with Scott yesterday.  It will be an awesome course.  Mostly cut out of a dense wooded area.  Pretty technical in many places.  Not a lot of wide open spaces.  Still a little raw at this point but I'm excited.

Beginners / Re: New Players League - Monday's

If I'm correct, today (Monday Sept 8, 2014) It's at Rosedale at 6PM.  Do I just show up say "Hi, I'm here to play."?  Is there somewhere else that has more detail?

Although I have not been to this league in particular, to answer your question, yes you would just show up and get in the league.  All of the leagues you can show up with no warning and play in.  It is not like a bowling league where you commit to so many weeks.  As long as the league is still going on you can go to one night or 5 or all.

That being said many of the leagues are winding down now.  With the fact that there is less and less light out many leagues have to move up their start time to 5:30 or even 5:15.

I know that doesn't fully answer your question but I hope it helps.

Bag Tags / Re: What tag you got? 2014

Yep.  I had that thing for too long.  Seemed like a year.

I think we just made some fact: Time moves inversely proportional to the numerical value of your bag tag.

The higher the tag, the slower time moves.  We can call it the "Maxi Maxim"

I heard that it was not happening this year.  Someone called DGW and talked to them and they said it was off.  But probably call to make sure.

I'm probably one of the better players in the club. But what bag tag I have is nobody's business.

Just because you've been keeping my 320 tag warm all week is no reason to brag about how good you are.

By the way, thanks for giving it back to me. Jerk. ;)

-----All In Bag-----
Banger GT - Putter
Buzzz SS
Drone FLX
Nuke OS
Nuke TI
Nuke SS
Surge SS
Ace Race 2013 (Mantis)
Challenger FLX

Will try to make it but probably going to just putz around.

How beginner friendly is this event?

Is it basically just take one shot then move on to the next hole?

Very beginner friendly.  Especially with the new discs that they are giving out.  Should be easy for beginners.

It is also a very laid back tournament.  Mostly about having fun.  It was the first tournament I ever played.  It was also the first disc I ever owned.

Thanks for clarifying No 12 at Lakeside.  Everyone told me it was par 3 but would be a near perfect drive through the gap to even be possible for a birdie.
