I just talked to Ben C. - Thursday doesn't work for him and Friday doesn't work for me. I will cancel the BV workday and bring all of the NE manpower to Cliff Dr. on Sat. We can get those pins set whenever - they aren't going anywhere. P.S. I did have the course set short to try and get more people to come out and play, BV can really be intimidating esp. during these hot summer months.
I will be having a workday this Saturday 8/9 if anybody is interested. I would like to put a long placement in on #16 and a short placement for #17. I will be there at 9:00 a.m. I have all necessary equipment for the job - so just show up. Please and Thank You.
I moved a few baskets today. #1 short #2 only #3 short #4 only #5 only #6 long #7 only #8 short #9 short #10 only #11 only #12 only #13 only #14 only #15 only #16 only #17 long #18 short I set the course up so it can be shortened even further. 1. After playing #3 use the alt. pad for #4. 2. Use the alt. basket for #9. 3. Use the the alt. pad and throw to the #9 basket. 4. Use the alt. pad and throw to #11. 5. Use the alt. basket for #12. 6. Use the alt. pad and throw to to #13.
I am going to cancel kids for the last two weeks due to lack of interest. I don't know whether people don't want to take their kids to BV because of the parking lot perverts or what. I am going to regroup and get some ideas about drawing a better turnout and give it another try later this year. Thanks to everybody that came out - we did have some fun.
I haven't given up on those planters - at least they looked good for the Wide Open. Jack, do you know the deal with the pin placement for #10 that is kind of in #1's fairway? It looks like a worthless placement and I would like to dig it up.
Hey Jack, something you possibly could help with is getting a new #13 for the top of 13's tee sign and new maps for ALL of the signs. BTW, the majority of my frustration was due to the thievery of the plants, it really bothered me.
