And why is it we don't have a pool going yet?

Well, I don't really feel strongly one way or the other. Only thing I can think of is that this "hedge bet" is only available to the Masters "age protected" division.

There isn't much reason for an open player to think this a bad idea--especially since they stand to increase their overall money pool--with the exception of a player "playing up". These players who have a smaller chance of winning cash might not like an additional pro division being able to opt in.

BTW, I thought that our forum was bad.....I have to give it up to most of our people in our group talking respectably with most other people in here, this thread shows an ugly side of discussions....

I have to agree with Jack.  Man.....every other word.  Felt like I was reading a "What people say when they don't know how to speak" forum.  (My politically correct version for a title that is)    ;D
It's more a problem of anonymity and not caring for the person you don't know on the forum. We don't have so much of that.

That would be pretty sweet if I could teach a class and throw a round, then teach a class and throw a round (repeat).

Why not teach a class whilethrowing a round?

Yeah...thx Jack for making this happen. Couldn't help but think as those drivers were flying inches from their schoolmates heads or taking a frantic search for a lost disc in the long stuff, that this may well be an experience some of these little throwers will carry with them for a long time. Personally it felt good to offer an experience many of these kids wouldn't otherwise know.

I will be there. Don't have a ton of kid friendly plastic, but have a decent number of beaters to bring.

I had three folks (not including myself) out for the first New Player's League on April 19, and five signed up last night (April 24) and we decided to play best-shot doubles, played through the rain and were tying to throw 18 in near darkness.

Would like to have even more out so we can begin having multiple cards, but hopefully I am gaining some regulars who will be playing their first semi-organized rounds.

I will be starting cards at 6 p.m. next week and will attempt to be at Rosedale every Monday for this -- if for some reason I can't make it, I will post here that I won't be there that evening.

Also, I wouldn't mind giving some plastic away as the season moves along so some weeks I will have rewards if all goes well.

Just thought folks might want an update. Take care and throw well,

Thx for running this Shane.

On hole 3 tee box a big tree is split and leaning into the narrow opening as well. Now, not only is it a narrow opening, but it has a low ceiling too. Couple that with the possiblility of being crushed to death by log and you have one scary hole.  :o

I alerted them about this at the office on Sunday and they said it would likely be addressed on Monday. Was still there yesterday. It's not really a good situation.
