Bag Tags / 2006 Bag Tag's are here!

KCFDC is happy to welcome back the friendly challenge of Bag Tag.  Bag Tag's are available to active members, renewing members, and new members of the club.  For active members the is cost $5,for new and renewing members the cost is $25 including a one year membership. Each tag comes with a custom printed KCFDC Carbiner to attach to your bag.

We will have tags for sale at the General Meeting March 29th, and beginning April 3rd at all League nights.  If you want to get your hands on one another way please contact me via PM or email.

Sunday April 9 € Swope Park Disc Golf Course

This is not a PDGA sanctioned event!

Entry Fees:

Open Division: $27.  Optional for open only‹Big Boy Side-Bet Pot Enhancer:
$15

Pro Masters, Pro Grand masters, Pro Women: $22

Advanced Men, Advanced Women, Advanced Masters: $22

Intermediate Men, Intermediate Women: $17

Recreational Men, Recreational Women: $12

Junior Divisions: $12

Minimum of three players required to open a division.

Current KCFDC members may deduct $2.00 from entry fee.

Ace Fund: $3.00 (optional). If no ace: CTP for 1/2 and the KCFDC gets the
other 1/2.

Prizes: cash for pros. Disc golf stuff or DGW prize vouchers for ams.

Pre-Register  by 5 p.m. April 8 and get a free mini. Stop by Disc Golf World

On site registration from 8:00 am to 9:15 am.

Players¹ meeting: ~9:50. Tee at 10.00 am.

Tournaments / DUI Invitational...Any info?

General Banter / Has there ever been a Doubles or Team league?

I was wondering if there had ever been a non-random Doubles or Team league here in KC.  Something handicapped to level the playing field for everyone week to week.

Would there even be an interest in something like this?  Maybe run it for 16 weeks, and have the payouts at the end of the season, not each week like the current league set up.  Any thoughts, suggestions?

Found and Lost / Lost and Found at Rosedale Who get them?

Does anyone know who is emptying the L&F at Rosedale?  Is it still Dick Parker at Koi's, and if so is he open during the Winter?

I'm trying to track down a Yellow Z Buzzz that I lost there about a month ago.

Dual purpose bottle openers!  This is from the Delaware Disc Golf Club, but I think it's a great idea.

Rosedale / Current course set up 10-27

Does anyone know if the 9 is through the trees, and 10 is on the cliff to the right?


How come 9 was moved from the new placement anyways?  We only got to try the pin behind the bush 1 week .

Great night at Rosedale another strong showing for New Players as 19 showed up!  The grass had been mowed, the course was set up evenly, and a nice southern breeze made things a bit interesting.
