 I hate message boards for official information.  There's too much risk of the intended message getting lost or misinterpreted.   I'll now go back and hide in my hole.

Just a suggestion, for official information you could have a club members section on the message board where permission has to be granted to enter that forum from admins.  Or Newsletter's could be emailed to the actual members containing the information you want to make sure everyone recieves.

I do agree w/ Post counts, why people see it fun to have the largest number is beyond me.

Actually I have enabled avatar uploading, so you don't need the hosting they will be stored on our server, just select your avatar and upload it.  Keep the size 6k or under and 80x80 max.

Car keys lost at waterworks they have a pink clip and a car door and trunk cliicker on them
if found let me know...

And i found a set with two car clickers on them one big honda key  gm or chevy key and 2 house keys they have a crafts 2000 and a price chopper shopper card...

I believe if you drop those keys off at a Price Chopper they can get them back to the person via shopper card info.

Is there still a used sporting goods store on North Oak and like 72nd street?  What happened to all the Play it Agains in KC?  They seem like they would be a prime place to pick up some used disc's for beginners.

I'm no expert on Message boards but this software does seem to run smoothly on several other boards I'm a member to.  Even seems like some of the traffic has been up in the last few days.

Beginners / Dying Disc's

Another thing I have seen mentioned quite a bit is custom dyed disc's.  Is this something that is fairly easy to do or not?  What all is involved with it?

Beginners / Drive for Show Putt for Dough?

Does that hold true in DG like it does in ball golf?  I've been reading around on several other forums the last couple weeks, and it certainly seems like alot of DGer's spend a great deal of time talking about drivers.

As a beginner I've tried to keep that saying in my head when I tee off, making sure to throw a straight controled drive.  But am I missing it, is driving really where the good scores come from in DG?

Bear in mind that Waterworks is one of the most challenging courses in KC. At Rosedale the ground is a bit flatter, there will be more people out there with a variety of discs, and starting April 4,
the Monday New Players League will start. The lovely and talented Paul Eklund is the host, if you have any questions he can be reached at 913 621-2004.

Thanks for the tips, I played 9 holes at Waterworks today by myself, and I must say that is a challenge!  4 and 5 I thought for sure were going to eat one of my discs.  Good news is that gave me the bug!  I hope I can get out to Rosedale this weekend and at least get 9 holes in.

Is WyCo pretty open as far as the holes go?
