when the good workaday weather returns, i'll soften the peace sign. only the throwers that can't reach it complain about the rocks, but since am masters throw their drivers for upshots trying to reach the circle, the danger factor will be addressed, as i am sure rosies #3 fairway will be soft as a dandelion bloom. ww needs a new ob paint job close to the event < june 2> and 18 new kickass flags, preferably with that new kcwo logo. mike and dave have offered to help ready the course - thank you both. official work day for me will be may 19, could use a truck/trailer and volunteers to start the mulching around pads. if the new flags are in by then, we could install them then.

April 6 and 7, as usual only the very strong, resourceful and capable golfers should attend, which omits me this spring, maybe the Fall Harvest in october.

really looking forward to fair-weather sunny golfing on the shores of smithville lake and hoping to convince the powers that be to play all 3 courses in one day. i believe beaver/blackthorne can be nailed in under 4 hours, and the henge in 3 hours. charge an extra seven bucks for lunch on the course or sponsor some kcfdc snacks/bevs and a triple crown is born! just starting this thread for feedback, really ddkc gets stuck with all the work and decision making

final post on this subject from me : ssa is the measure that a 1000 rated player throws on your course, so ssa is measured like a 50 for cliff short and like a 54 for cliff long. IF the ssa is 1000, you've got a real real long course. disc golf course review uses a measure of sse<scratch scoring estimate> for cliff it's 56. compression re-rates the ssa based on field, weather, temp pins or moving pins, pollution and whether a majority of the field smoked some iron leaf. either way, i would say cliff was not short on 3-18, and i'm predicting a 56 is a 980 round using stonermath, why? cuz i am not fazed by high-rated players, rain, wind, hanging baskets or seedless green. cliff league will start at 5:30 pm on monday 3-25, expect a cowbell but don't expect me cuz work has me "on-call" that night, but i hope to be there since i'm a propagator. please if you are a rated pdga player try to make this league, it's fun and math isn't really required IF someone keeps the card the entire round <hint - tracy, your cart, your card>

read it, deal with the compression, and note that the ssa for cliff long is higher than cliff short. 1000 rated players will decompress on longer set-ups. removing 803.b from the rulebook makes all this easier to process - it's just a game and you are more likely to beat or tie mcbeth on a short course
