i will try to remove the poison ivy with machete, again. poison ivy has a weakness : direct sunlight. i am aware of hole 13, and hole 1, but don't expect any miracles on 3/4/5. also, there are wild strswberries on 14, and wild onions on 2. onions are like a$$holes, because some are shaped like onions. i tend to do my workdays in the morning, so watch out for freshly cut ivy soon at waterworks. brb

oh yeah - hey kmont what happened to the avatars? i'm not seeing them on my screen?

do you need to be a paid 2012 member to get a 2012 tag?

my major complaint was the mpg entry fee. i like the deep plastic payout for the ams. i also like the 5 round format, with a cut for the semis and finals.

ok, here's an idea:
lower the entry fees for everyone, and have sponsorships for the following places -
1st place mpo sponsored by ___________highest sponsor in dollars
1st place fpo sponsored by ____________second highest sponsor
1st place mpm sponsored by __________ third highest sponsor
10th place mpg sponsored by__________barclays bank and courvosier and aristocrat motors
            etc, etc
that way everybody can play cheaper, and our sponsors get much more recognition

General Banter / Re: Dog days of summer

This happened on a flight ready to depart for Detroit .

Jack was sitting when a guy took the seat beside him. The guy was an
Emotional wreck, pale, hands shaking, moaning in fear. "What's the matter?"
 Jack asked.

"I've been transferred to Detroit , there's crazy people there. They have a
Lot of shootings, gangs, race riots, drugs, poor public schools, and the
 Highest crime rate."

Jack replied, "I've lived in Detroit all my life. It's not as bad as the
Media says. Find a nice home, go to work, mind your own business and enroll
Your kids in a nice p rivate school. It's as safe a place as anywhere in the
 World."

The guy finally relaxed and said, "Thank you. I've been worried to death,
But if you live there and say it's OK, I'll take your word for it. By the
Way, what do you do for a living?"

"Me?" said Jack. "I'm a tail gunner on a Budweiser truck."
