my biggest concern is doubles! this should ALWAYS be alternate shot, so you really have to rely on your partner. the game moves so much faster we could knock out 36 in the time 18 play best shot, pick up the pace whippet-snapper.

Doug Peyton won masters, and got the double win bonus. cool thing about the bonus, Blake Needles was offered a bounty to spoil it if he could beat Doug in Omaha, really raised the level of play for those 2. Mr. Bill <TD> ran a great show, by leaving the permanent course <18 great holes> open to the public, the club installed a 21 hole temp course for the tourney, the layout was short for round 1<par 63 , 10 under was best>, longer for round 2<par 63, 6 under was best>. lots of OB if you're careless, but with that weather, the public course was packed, the 21 temp holes played smoothly with little to no interrruption or conflict with all that casual play, kudos to the Omaha golf community, i bet that park saw over 300 golfers on sunday.

something disc golf could assimilate from Major League Baseball are the random tunes the keyboardist pipes out of the sound system during the game, i've noticed a lot of people in the crowd (eg gallery) kinda get into this. just saying the national anthem is a great tune to start an event, and then................maybe Tom Petty Learning to Fly, Starland Vocal Band Afternoon Delight, Judas Priest Turbo Lover, just to keep the gallery interested when somebody is taking too long to set up a shot or such.

if there's one thing disc golf could assimilate from professional boxing, is to employ those bikini clad beauties with the round cards. just saying maybe they could be spotters or hold up quiet signs, and eventually carry the final 4 leaderboards. good music may bring a good gallery too.

I live to throw discs, the concept that we throw plastic is temporary, vote for jack, approve kevlar discs (in the skeletal form) with safe-skin coatings, we'll all throw farther and be able to compete into our 70's!
