dude when the lawyers show up is when i run and hide.
how many lawsuits have been served during a round = zero.
we all play at our own risk, thus the invention of shoes<bummer> and player waivers. i guess the real golfers are just throwing casually.
i once got heat stroke in columbia and had to take a nap after the round, and i could have died!
great video nevertheless, those golfers were fortunate to a: have a camera and b: the state of mind to use it.
personally, i'd take 2 drives on the first in that instance.

once in a lifetime opportunity! tell me if you were there you wouldn't take the drive? fascinating when you are face to face with the forces of nature. honestly, the obstacles mother nature serves up and the limp wristed flee, td's are too quick to postpone rounds due to the threat of lightning, rain or the whims of the weak hearted. did you hear the sounds of glee, not fear in their exclamations? long live the die hard golfer!

my experience is 3 hours a round, unless you're on big blue or swope gold, then budget 4 hours. rolling tee times rule for big tourneys if there is the staff for it. if your wife can caddy for you, take her out to dinner, buy her a nice ring, and shoot well.

hey instead of bag tags we could paint cool roman numerals on machetes, play for blades and accomplish some course maintenance, maybe make whoever is b-o-b carry the trash bag, etc. either way should be fun, looking forward to leagues on monday at cliff!

collegiatge golf getting more serious each year: <alternate shot format, the way doubles SHOULD be played

"The second day’s format, to unfold at Endicott Park, called for an alternating team, alternating shot format that would pit two schools’ entire squads against each other per card. Purdue vs Arkansas, Illinois vs Western Illinois, and Murray State vs Ferris State at the top of the leaderboard, and teeing off near the end of the rolling-start tee times Coming into the day 3 strokes behind Western Illinois, Murray State charged past Ferris State over the 18 hole track to finish just one stroke shy of taking the Top Qualifying spot. Western Illinois, who had played Illinois to a Team Score-tie through Saturday’s two rounds, again found themselves square with their competitors after Sunday’s round, securing their Nationals’ Bid, and now in a playoff for the honor of a 2nd place finish in the event. After 3 extra holes, with the match being extended by big putts from the U of I squad on the first two holes, the Western Illinois Bulldogs showed their fight and walked away victorious."

Overall Finish:
 1) Purdue University
 2) Western Illinois University
 3) University of Illinois

Gateway Collegiate Classic NCDGC Bid Winners:
 1) Western Illinois
 2) Murray State

I was disappointed since he had a shot at Pete E. had a shot at first, second, third ya know? his game is definitely up to pro GM level. really don't know hoops or who associates with what team, just trying to track a litlle border war preview with some of the club members. loomis is ready to move on up also, imo. wish i was there making some birdies. the final round tomorrow morning will tell the tale as far as the thomas cashen affair.

not a hoops fan, emac up by 4 is a tie with nikko when there is a lot of golf left.
also tiger pete engleman disappoints in his final round, drops to T-7, still, he obliterates jayhawk gonzalez in the AGM division. ed should present pete with a big bag of
