Surprised KCPD took an interest in the case. They basically told my wife, sorry we have too much violent crime to worry about your purse. The gomers had used our credit card at the QT on Gregory within about an hour after stealing the purse, but they only have security cameras inside, not on the pumps.

I hear you there. I had my truck broken into at Swope a few years ago. They busted my driver side window, and ripped out my stereo along with some loose change(seriously you dirtbags, you're stealing my loose change?), sunglasses, and CDs. I called the PD, and after about 30 minutes on the phone, I was finally transferred to Officer I've Got Better Things to Do. He told me I could fill out a report over the phone if I wanted to, but that was all he could do. I asked him about the odds of getting anything back, and he chuckled and said don't count on it. Boy that really filled me with confidence.
Degenerate thieves. I love the "bait bag" idea. Fill that sumb%tch with explosive dye like they'd use in a bank heist.....
