General Banter / Re: Winter Park, Colorado

Winter Park was amazing!!!  Disc golf at 10,500 feet.  The lift ticket was reasonable, the ride was great, the view was spectacular.  The course is very challenging, especially the elevation changes.  It is easy to catch a roll and find yourself way past the hole and just as easy to find yourself out of steam tossing up huge inclines.  Lots of fun.  Here are some photos

Actually, the project took a bit of back seat as I am in the process of moving - still in town, but putting things in boxes takes up most of my time.  I drew up the basic ideas, where signs are necessary, etc.  I was going to make them out of wood and paint on them, but if you have availability for quality sign making, that would be fantastic.

Hey Flyers,

Liz and I are heading up to Denver for a few days and were eyeing up various disc golf courses.  Has anyone played Winter Park? It has a lift ticket cost, but if I get to play in the moutains, I figure it'd be worth it.  All opinions welcome...

Best,
Ryan

If by GM you mean General McLane HS, Edinboro PA, then you may be on to something... but if General Motors, no.

I'll just make the signs.  It will be a good project for me this summer.  If I post them, and you all hate them, we can work out something else!

Rosedale / Down Under Signs

Hey KCFs,

I recently joined the club and would love to help out.  I am a big fan of the Rosedale Down Under course, but I feel that the lack of signage can be discouraging for visitors or new players.  I would really enjoy making signs for the course to help with directions and explain multiple tee boxes.  I'm not sure who is organizing down under work days, but you can count me in.
