Umm, if I recall correctly, it was just a normal KC Pro Roc.

Huh.  I thought he said it was his '01.  Since I wasn't there, was it a straight shot, or did it turn over then fade back at the end?

League on Wednesday normally has 3 divisions:  Open, Masters, and Advanced.  Open and Masters pay $$$, while the Advanced division plays for KC Cash you can spend at disc golf world.  There's normally a pretty good turnout, and a pretty fun league.

With a course that size, would it be more feasible to put everyone in one division and play some sort of handicapped league on the weekends?  Maybe spend a few weeks just playing without payout, then put the handicaps in effect? 

Anyways, if people would play out there, I think I'd join them more often.

I throw both, but with opposite hands.  LHFH, RHBH.  The forehand only gets used if I've got to stand still, have to reach around something, or am trying to hit a gap so small I don't want to take my eye off the target.

i've played there several times in the middle of the day and never felt threatened, well, unless poison ivy is as mean to you as it is to me

The plants don't really bother me that much.  Thanks for the info; I'll be in town for about 3 weeks before I start working, and Cliff Drive seems to be the most balanced course in the area.  Aside from the Rosedale down under course, there isn't anything that could be classified as "wooded" in the area, right?

Thanks for the info.  I was also curious about Cliff Drive, which is the only course in the area that I haven't played.  Some of the folks on the Iowa board were mentioning how unsafe they felt in the area; is it a safe place to play by yourself?
