Can I ask a question? How did you decide the payouts for Open?

They pay out half the field without any added money.  It would be a bigger payday for folks if they were only paying 1/3 of the field.

Jack Lowe DNP-Worked instead at helping ensure that the stage area was completed for the course to remain solid and a new feature of OB was done for all the people that love to play the hanging basket  (I am not one of the people that LOVE it), so as the Did Not Play moniker is listed, I actually did play, but not in the KCFDC Monday night league at Cliff Drive Disc Golf Course at Kessler Park, but rather, I played in the park with the fun and excitement of building additions to the park that will be hard pressed to be destroyed.  Wanna watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat?  For my next trick.....Nothing up my sleeve.....OH you will have to come out and see it.....

Oh that's right I didn't plan on playing league on Monday, sorry I forgot to move the basket on hole #13 to the alternate setting folks.

I did birdie #13 in the not short setting though .  And proceeded to 4 2 of the shortest holes on that setup.  (the 3rd hole on #11 and the hole after the long #13).

i am looking to be first card out on sat, i'll be there fashionably early <9:30 am> and def reddy 2 go at 10 to shred the short course and i am amicable to quarter skins, if interested be there!

I may be down for that, JB.  If you promise to make sure I throw off the tees in the right direction.    to J-Lo

I will be there for the early morning tee; I have to leave in the afternoon so this is perfect for me.

I left a max weight, custom stamped DiscGolfReview FD in the middle of 6's fairway last night at Cliff Drive.  It's orange with a white stamp, and has my name written on the back.  I would appreciate it's return with some sort of repayment.

Because the Club Championship isn't scheduled until after the Chief's schedule comes out.

General Banter / KCMO Ballot Issue: #1 - Please Vote August 7th!

Kansas City will have a crucial vote on August 7th.

Two issues will be on the ballot, one of which will affect Kansas City, Missouri’s parks system.  The 1st issue will remove 3 property taxes and a car tax, replacing it with a sales tax.  This will add approximately 3 million dollars to the parks department’s budget.

While the Kansas City Flying Disc Club does not have an official stance on the ballot issue, we believe everyone should vote on this upcoming ballot issue if they are eligible.  It will affect the parks that our membership plays disc golf in, and could affect any potential parks in the KC Metro we work to develop in the future.

Below are download links to 2 pamphlets that will hopefully explain any questions you have about the issues up for vote.
