Is Swope still set short like it was for the doubles event last month? Will it be short for league tonight?

Cliff Drive / T-pads
« on: May 22, 2006, 12:08:48 PM »
I was wondering if any T-pads had been built at Cliff Drive yet? If not, is there a plan to do so?

I'll be over there for some leagues this summer when I am fully recovered.

General Banter / summer leagues
« on: April 03, 2006, 12:08:02 PM »
I was curious as to why Cliff Drive league is on Monday, when there is already a league on Monday in Olathe, and one at Rosedale for new players? It seems to me that Friday would have been a better day of the week for the Cliff Drive league.

Another question I had too; is the Cliff Drive league $5 with $1.50 going to the club just as the other KCFDC leagues are? I plan on attending some this summer and wondered about the format and payout.

Come out to olathe tonight to kick off the summer league season. According to Bob the ACE fund is well over $500.

We had 34 different players come out thru the season. Andy Lewis and Dean Uhlman share the title of most rounds with 21 out of a possible 22. Tom Butler had 20.

Tom Butler- $8.60 per round

No ACES were hit this season except for Arturro and Andy each hitting one in warm-up. The ACE fund will be held until next season. The first GLOW of the fall will be on Monday, October 30th, when we will cook some burgers and brauts again to kick it all off. The ACE fund stands, unhit, at $196.

I hope everyone enjoyed my little GLOW league. I did. See ya around town at the summer leagues.

NNE winds at around 22, temps around 35, and a steady drizzle, must have kept a lot of the regs away, but 4 showed up and played a quick round.

Tom Butler and Bryan Guthrie shooting 51 for $20
Dean Uhlman and Andy Lewis shooting 55

Next week is the final installment of our Monday night GLOW League until next fall. The ACE fund has grown to $180. We will be cooking some brauts and burgers next week before we start the round, so come out and join us for some chow, ale, and a round of GLOW.

9 players out for a round in some unseasonably warm weather. The temp was around 62 and the wind was non-existent. These great conditions allowed the team of Bryan Guthrie and Steve Hoog, as well as Tom Butler playing Cali to tie the GLOW dubs record at PC of 42, originally shot by Heberto Villareal and Tom Butler.

Tom Butler and Cali Tom shooting 42 for $25
Bryan Guthrie and Steve Hoog shooting 42 for $25
John Raich and Leo Deprato shooting 46
Bob Hayett and Dean Uhlman shooting 51
Ben Taylor and C.J. Johnson shooting 51

We only have 4 more Monday night GLOW rounds left and our ACE fund is up to $157, so come on out!
