Is there pre-reg, or just show up on Sunday at Cliff?

The first concert I ever attended was in Joplin. It was Johnny Cash in 1968.

The DG course is in a great park. The last time I was there some of the baskets were mounted real low. I think they might have corrected that though.

Humble pie...yummm. I'd be glad to have some, but of course the main ingredient is a lower score than the Throlatheans, and frankly, I just don't see that happening. Bwahahaha

Side bets? Anyone? Bueller?

Don't take me seriously. Just trying to drum up some interest and spirited, friendly competition.

Both courses are great. I would have to say that Cliff has better topography for DG and is one of my favorite places to play.

Do you mean the partial sponsorship we accepted from DGW? Whatever.

Is there a team that will give us some competition, or will it be a walk in the park for the mighty Throlatheans? Any side bets from potential competitors, or are all fearful of the awesome skills of the mighty Throlatheans?

The sun is shining finally! League tonight at PC, and Cliff. The ground should be drying up, but if you want guaranteed level and dry tee box footing come on out to Oooooolathe.

WYCO / 09-12-08 League

It was raining at 5:15 and only 3 showed up for league. We waited in the shelter to see if it was going to let up. The tornado sirens started going off, the rain intensified, the Park Ranger pulled in and said "There's a big storm heading towards the park." The cell phone radar confirmed he was not joking. We continued to wait in the shelter, and knew the rock and concrete park shelter would provide some protection from the storm. The Park Ranger pulled back in, driving fast he drove right through the grass and shouted "A tornado just touched down 2 miles southwest of here". We all were ready to bolt when we saw it. Crossing the road west of the shelter near long #4 basket and heading towards #18 tee, was a small funnel dancing along the ground. It wasn't pulling up much debris and looked rather kewl. Unexpectdly, Dave takes off running towards it with a disc in his hand. He intercepts the funnel near the right side of #3's fairway and leaps into the air towards it. It was the coolest sight you would ever see, Dave flying along about 7 feet off the ground. Then, as being whirled around, I see Dave throw the disc. As he was being carried by #17 basket, he grabbed the top of the chain assembly and pulled himself free of the cloud. A few minutes later, the rain stopped and we all walked in the direction the disc went. After looking for almost an hour, Gus found it in the parking lot of the Agricultural Hall of Fame. That throw was close to 2500'!

No league due to the weather.

Next week tee time is 5:00. Sign up by 4:50.

Hmmmm. A one legged, carless, and broke Leo vs "the destroyer".

I think I'd have to put my money on Leo.

Advanced Men: If registered with the PDGA as an am with a rating above 934 you must play advanced. If registered with the PDGA as a pro with a rating below 970, you may play advanced.
Masters: (40 and older or turn 40 in 2008). Rating cannot exceed 934 if you're a PDGA pro masters player.

I don't know if I'll be in town that weekend, but, hypothetically, the way I read the division breakdown it looks like I can play adv masters. Is that correct?
