The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It's been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game, is a part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that once was good, and it could be again. Ohhhhhhhh, people will come, Ray. People will most definitely come.
I only climb on roofs if there is a pool close by to jump into.
Luckily for me last time I chucked a disc into savanah land I had Mr. Gus in my pocket. I simply sent him into the hyena pen to retrieve the disc, but he had to fight and kill the hyena pack first. After that he had the blood thirst and attacked and killed a wallaby, a camel, and mutilated a little old lady. I still saved the OB 4 though.
I was one of the people pushing for it not to be on Monday. I wasn't just "raising a fuss" as was suggested I was simply bringing up the obvious.... there are currently two scheduled gatherings on Mondays (Olathe league and New Players league). I also pointed out that with the large numbers of players at Rosedale league, it wouldn't neccesarily be a bad thing if the Bushwackers league took some of the crowd away.
I was going to get in on Wednesday's, but I think I'll pass now. Thanks anyway.
It does sound like fun, and, keep up the good work.
Here are the stats from the third season (07-08) of Olathe Prairie Center GLOW. We had 153 rounds played. 27 different people came out over the 16 week season. The ACE fund was not touched. It stands at $534.
I have only included players with four or more rounds in these lists.

Now we can look forward to those hazy, lazy, crazy days of summer DG. The wheel in the sky keeps turnin........
I hope everyone enjoyed our little GLOW rounds this season. Thanks to all the participants and most of all to my lovely assistant TD Cindy, and her hairy assistant Mr. Gus.
Respectfully submitted on this day, March 4, 2008.
That is probably Bryan Guthrie. He is from Olathe. He is registered to play at the Kan-U-Wyco, but there is a chance he may have to miss it. If he isn't at the Kan-U-Wyco next Sunday, I can take it from you and get it to him. Thanks, Tom Butler
Dave Hemmeline threw his disc off the tee on 13 and it flew straight into the middle placement chains last night. Unfortunately for him it spit out, denieing him the $526 of ACE money that surely would have bought us all some P Otts tacos. That means we all have 18 more attempts at da money before the fund goes into summer hibernation.
Dave Hemmeline & Dan Quinn 47 for $32 Bryan Guthrie & Cali Bryan 51 for $18 Leo Diprato & Andy Lewis 52 Tom Butler & Bob Hayett 53 Cooper Arnold & Jarad Garren 54
Come out next week for the final installment of season three Prairie Center Monday night GLOW. As is our custom, we will have some brauts, burgers, and various chow before the game is played. Come eat, drink, and be Mary, wit us between 5:15 and 6:00.
Watch for final season stats next week after the last tango....
