Being a beginer myself I know what you saying about the Leopard going right for at WYCO friday night mine did the same thing. I use an Eagle a lot if I throw correctly it will go straight and predictably fade left. My second throw it usally always an Eagle.

 # 11 at Jackson Park Atchison after ascending cardiac mountain from the bascket at #10 I usually bumper pool the first  4 trees then my second throw drifts a little left and fades or rolls down the mountain I just climbed so what should be an par 3 ends a 4 or 5 for me. :

Beginners / Re: Throwin Wobblers

Thanks to everbody who replied I see I need to practice a lot more when I get on my feet again about everything I am doing wrong has been mentioned especially dropping of the shoulders and gripping to tight the only thing I question is rolling of the wrist. Don't you want the wrist to roll? I do throw rightbackhand and speed of disc must be a factor cause my favorites are an Eagle and a Valkyre since been throwing a lot can't hardly throw a Shark with any accuracy any more.

Beginners / Throwin Wobblers
« on: April 10, 2008, 10:21:26 AM »
I am not a long thrower (250) at best but trying to throw longer the disc gets a bad case of the wobbles when leaving my hand to about 75ft. sometimes is short of 250. Any suggestions?
Just had two toes whittled on so I am laid up and bored.

General Banter / Re: How do I train my dog to find lost discs?
« on: April 01, 2008, 08:58:22 AM »
It would help if your dog has a little natural retrieve in him or her I've had afew Beagles over the years that would retrieve the rabbit i shot for me.
First get your scent on something like a glove and have the dog hold it while walking it then go with an old disc with your scent on it with a little practice even if the dog doesn't retrieve it will go to the disc just to check it out cause it has your scent on it. Just to find other disc's I'm not sure.

Beginners / Bag tag

I am thinking of joining the KCFDC. So what is a bag tag?  Played in Praire 3-1-08 almost witnessed the ace heard it hit the chains and seen the disc in. Congrats to whoever. Stil snow and ice on the ground at my closest park which is Jackson park Atchison Kansas.
