Tom Palmer...where were you at????  You always have suggestions but never a helping hand??? Come on man!

Also found 3 discs at Birdland during the work....a red, a white and a blue....

Andy, are you saying you found my Red Tern on #16 at Birdland?

I agree with Harold.  Hole #6 is already long.  As for #4, I like the idea of a short pin.  I still think it needs to be opened up top so there is somewhat of a chance at the existing pin.....but then again, I don't work for the Dirty Bird design team.  :-D

Some observations from playing PC last night.  Hole #11 could use some trimming around the opening in the woods to the pin.

I know it's wishful thinking but removing that tree to the left right off the tee for #13 would sure open that hole up somewhat.  It
wouldn't necessarily make it easier to play but that fairway off the tee is much too tight.  Just my honest opinion.

Hi Tom:

A couple of questions:

1)  Will the short placement at Lakeside Hills Hole #1 be in place by tournament time?  Will it be used?
2)  Are we accepting more than 90 to utilize both courses simultaneously?

i'm sure with more play and practice the deuces will come, and then you can call it birdland proudly. burrland sounds too much like the course in Antarctica, brrrrrrrrland!

OK, I'll change my proposal.  How 'bout "Burrdland"?  There you go.

I like this name because it describes you very well....a stick tight nuisance that keeps bugging you and has nothing better to do than annoy you!   ;D

Ya...anybody that plays or WORKS at Birdland knows all about these things....but typically when I'm a player I don't have much of a hard time staying in fairways...   :P

LOL.....I love it.  My first endorsement from The Bird Father himself.  Did I mention, I seriously like what's going on out there.  Love the pads and the rocks.  Now if I could just stay on those darn fairways on the back 9.  Ugh.

Found and Lost / Lost: Lakeside #16

I lost a red 165 Tern on #16 at Lakeside on Sunday morning.  Second Tern I've lost.  Ugh.  If anybody finds it, I would appreciate having it back and will provide a 6 pack of your choice.  It was left past the first couple trees on the left.

Has my name and number on it.

Is #15 considered a par 4?

Thanks Adam!  Yeah, you touched on my main reason for asking.  I have been using the Gateway Warlock for a number of years but you're right regarding the consistency of the plastic.  I love the grippiness of the SSS or Organic plastic but lately have been disappointed with a few I've ordered.

From what I have read about the Pure, seems like most folks are using this off the tee or for upshots.  I want something for strictly putting.  I will stop by DD sometime soon and have a look at both the Zero and Opto plastics.
