I guess Americans don't care for the coffee.

Man, if I could find Tower 10 IPA from Karl Strauss brewery in San Diego, that would be my pick.  I'll call you next week Dan.

I've got a disc that I found on #18 at Lakeside in Olathe which I plan on returning to the owner without expecting anything.  Well, I would take some Hopslam.  :-P

Nice Dan.  What kind of 6 pack you want?  Also, PM me your number.  I don't believe I have it?

it's not often I have the highest pdga number in my field - 3628, but it happened today with cd, bruce, hal and bill! thanks olatheans for your hospitality and well groomed courses. andy lewis deserves some ace money!

Bill Paulson played on our Masters bottom feeder card the second round and I must say, he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and a pretty darn good disc golfer.  Warming up with him before the second round at Lakeside, I saw him 3 Hole #1 with 2 incredibly long drives.  Glad I got to meet that guy.

Threw a blue Star Boss in there about a week ago but it would have my name and number on it.

Another flaming endorsement by Da Burrd Father himself.  Ha!  Looking forward to Old Settlers.

Tom and Harold-C'mon let him do what he wants to.  This isn't the Harold and Tom Open!
 8) ;) :-*

Jack, I don't think I ever told them how to run a tournament.  I'll take that as your ribbing.
Bring it....I got thick skin.  :-D

Tom Palmer...where were you at????  You always have suggestions but never a helping hand??? Come on man!

Also found 3 discs at Birdland during the work....a red, a white and a blue....

Andy, are you saying you found my Red Tern on #16 at Birdland?

I agree with Harold.  Hole #6 is already long.  As for #4, I like the idea of a short pin.  I still think it needs to be opened up top so there is somewhat of a chance at the existing pin.....but then again, I don't work for the Dirty Bird design team.  :-D

Some observations from playing PC last night.  Hole #11 could use some trimming around the opening in the woods to the pin.

I know it's wishful thinking but removing that tree to the left right off the tee for #13 would sure open that hole up somewhat.  It
wouldn't necessarily make it easier to play but that fairway off the tee is much too tight.  Just my honest opinion.

Hi Tom:

A couple of questions:

1)  Will the short placement at Lakeside Hills Hole #1 be in place by tournament time?  Will it be used?
2)  Are we accepting more than 90 to utilize both courses simultaneously?

i'm sure with more play and practice the deuces will come, and then you can call it birdland proudly. burrland sounds too much like the course in Antarctica, brrrrrrrrland!

OK, I'll change my proposal.  How 'bout "Burrdland"?  There you go.

--The Burrd Father

I like this name because it describes you very well....a stick tight nuisance that keeps bugging you and has nothing better to do than annoy you!   ;D

Ya...anybody that plays or WORKS at Birdland knows all about these things....but typically when I'm a player I don't have much of a hard time staying in fairways...   :P

-- A Dirty Bird surrounded by spoiled golfers

LOL.....I love it.  My first endorsement from The Bird Father himself.  Did I mention, I seriously like what's going on out there.  Love the pads and the rocks.  Now if I could just stay on those darn fairways on the back 9.  Ugh.
