Well I skipped the gym today and headed for Cliff. Ron Klien=mo and myself were in weed-whackin heaven. Touched up 3,4,5.....and 6 was the worst of all. So I revved her up and tore into it like a wild man. Looks alot better than it did. Prolly could use more work on 6. So when your shufflin down that nice clean fairway- remember that someone worked pretty hard to make that happen. The Wide Open is shaping up nicely! Go get your karma.
absolutely a great statement. Discgolf keeps us healthy- but at the same time it seems most of us enjoy that casual doubles round more than anything else. I think commrodorie rules over everything. For me the real enjoyment comes with relaxing with friends. Couple of weeks ago I went to Riverfront park in Lawrence. Avery Jenkins was there. It was really kewl to play that course. ...of course I knew I wouldnt beat Avery. ...but it was still alot of fun....great course! I guess it all dependes on how much you enjoy competition. I do! ...and it was really kewl to see Avery in person.
just want to send a shout out to Billy Nelson- this guy captured second place after the first round- and did not relinquish it throughout the tournament. Des Moines is truely beautiful and challenging. Excitement was to be had at Pickard and Ewing parks. I only wish I had pics of the tunnel shots at Walnut ridge. Thank you Des Moines. .....and Billy is the represent for KC! Great playin bro.
