Here ye Here ye.  For those of you who missed out last year!  AND THERE WERE PLENTY OF YOU.  This year will be 10x's better IF YOU SHOW UP!!!  The blues band will rock you the golf is awesome the mini golf will blow you away and the fun will only dry up as quick as the kegs do.  But we have a replacement for that as well.   GET OUT AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ALCOHOLICS!!!!

Here are some shots I took Today before the rain hit and after we landscaped all of the baskets.  Thanks to Mike Kiezer for showing up and speeding up an already quickly moving job.  The man.  Only if he could have been there to stop my from smashing my left pinkie finger between two rocks.  argh.

Rosedale / Rosedale Down Under Work Day THIS SATURDAY. EVERYONE COME!!!!!!

Ok so we have alot of work to do on Saturday.  I need as many people with as many resources as possible to get whatever we can get done, DONE!  I will be down there off and on this week doing what I can to survey what needs to be done and try my best to move some down trees to the sides and make fairway barriers.  If anyone wants to help with that call me tommorrow and find out what time I will be down there.  Other than that here is what Saturday will most likely consist of.

1. Remaining litter and trash (This is something we can all do this week on our owns to make this not an issue for Saturday)
2. Tee Pads.  1-7 need the most sand but all 18 need sand.  I would like to make sure there is a Visible end to each Tee Pad. Weather that be limbs or Rocks.  Preferably Rocks but this is an undertaking so Whatever you can find just make it look decent.  As far as the sand goes we have plenty of it.  Lets not stop filling until these things are nice and full.
3. Downed limbs.  Again something we can all do this week to just make things nicer. 
4. RePaint and Label Arrows for Next Tee.  This will only take a second and I may do that this week.
5. Make #8's bridge safe and crossable.
6. Weed WacK .

I know there are plenty more things to do but we are running out of time and resources so I will be focusing my efforts here.  Anything else you can do to help will rock.

We will need LOTS of Wheel Barrows and buckets.

Dan (lefty 2) Can you bring out the ATV and Trailer to haul sand down?.  Please reinforce the bed if you haven't already so we can get as much down as possible.

General Banter / NEW TIGER WOODS GAME WITH DISC GOLF IS OUT!

It came out early and it is pretty fun.  The game allows you to play all 27 ball golf courses in disc golf mode with real time weather on every course.  woo.  Still going to play the real thing though.  Maybe tonight!

Joe Hesting is a good friend of mine, that some of you know, LEFT Kansas City about 6 months or so ago to live and disc in COLORADO.  Well he is coming home for 2-3 weeks to hang out and play in the KCWO 2009.  Joe has requested a Mini Disc Golf tournament for his coming home party.  (He thinks he is going to win money to play in the KCWO.  HAH Good Luck!) Entry Fee: $10 (100% PAYOUT)
DATE: SUNDAY MAY 24, 2009
Start Time: 4:00pm (BE THERE EARLY or CALL IF YOUR RUNNING LATE)


3 ROUNDS (RANDOM DOUBLES EACH ROUND, unless less than 7 people attend then SINGLES)

You can NOT have the same partner twice!

Found and Lost / LOST! My favorite Sidewinder with custom dye job.

Last night at Rosedale during league I threw my Sidewinder on hole #16 and it went right toward the big green wall that protects the yard without of fence.  Assuming I would find it was my first mistake. Please if anyone finds it or sees someone throwing a Peach color disc with what looks like a squirrel with a helmet on covering his head it is mine.  Please tell them karma will kill them if they don't return it.  This is my 3rd lost "favorite" disc in 2 weeks and I'm kinda bummed about it.  Please let me know.

Rosedale / Rosey League 4-29-09

Well it was raining all the way up till about 5:58pm.  In which I got out of my car looked around at the beautiful weather and called league.  Arturo was there for a minute but he ended up leaving.  Honestly I think he was just sleeping there... Not actually there for league .  Anyway.  I won and the club gets nothing.  Sorry.

Tournaments / 27th Kansas City Wide Open - MAY 30 & 31, 2009

This flyer should have all the information you will need to start preparing your KCWO weekend.  I am limited the field to 180 players and all division will be playing the same courses.  I had thoughts of making each field playing only the courses they would play in WORLDS but after discussions with both TD legends John Chappy Chapman and John Lowe I have decided to mix it up a little more.  Sorry Jack.

League maybe over but Double down under isn't.  As always we will be meeting at hole 1 DU at 12:30pm.  $10 entry Random draw.   And ALSO don't forget to attend the DUI tomorrow morning.  The weather report shows RAIN AT NIGHT not during the day so we should have a nice day for the tourny.
