General Banter / Re: The year 3000 disc golf predictions

In the year 3000, team East Side will win thier 2nd team challenge. Jose will then complain that the first win and second win plaques aren't on the right side.

Thank you very much Dick. Hope the same for the rest or at least middle with a sparse long twisted in, if it is necessary.  ;)

I think it will be all long for people named Doug and short for everyone else.

No. A mix of long and short. This is the A Pool's finishing course.

4
Lakeside Hills will be short. All short.

Yah! I get to play league tonight for the first time this year. Too bad it's the last time too.

While what Kujo says is correct, because we are split between two courses Saturday morning, it will help us tremendously if you pre-register and tell us what course you will start on

Again, what this guy says... It doesn't cost anything anything to sign up online. It's just a way of letting us know your intentions. It helps the process. Those who would like to just show up, that's also fine, but we would rather you do it beforehand.

So are we playing ks. Or mo. First?  Do we just pay and register the morning of the first day or is it pay online .   Havent heard nothing about either one of these.

Saturday is Missouri day.  Sunday is Kansas day.

Please sign up ahead of time on line.

All the information you need is at

http://kcfdc.org/clubchamps2016/

Please follow the link and register.  Pay for the rest of 2016

What he said. I failed to update this forum page. Sorry everyone. The information is listed on the website and also on the facebook page. Do like MK said and get signed up so we know where you are going to be starting. It will make everything run much smoother. Also, check your membership status and make sure you are current so you don't have to fool around with money on the day of. Thanks!

With WW, I want #1 long, #8 short, 12 long right and #17 peninsula. The rest can go wherever.

well looks like ill be a busy bee the next few weeks....

Thank you Kujo for your fine work. To lessen the load a little, you can either leave the settings from the tournament or if you feel froggy, come up with a layout and let me know where everything is here so people will know. I'll leave it up to you. I trust you know the course better than I do. Just make it fun, while still competitive. Thanks.

Also, I just received a note from Tom, that there may be a soccer tournament that weekend. With that in mind, I'm going to have us move over to Lakeside Hills (aka Birdland) for the other course along side Heritage.

Trying to finalize a couple pieces of information before I get to ahead of myself and have to backtrack...

But yes, Bad Rock/WW and Heritage/PC

What a joke.  How did Steve Dodge get to this point in his life without the PDGA? Please someone let me know. I'll wait.

I found this post to be rather interesting.

Dear Paul McBeth,

Here is your explanation:
Since the day BW became a member of the pdga he has received more official complaints to the pdga, from other players, than any other member. He has been caught cheating (pencil whipping), cursing, punching trees, kicking his bag over, kicking tournament baskets over while in play, & now trying to rattle fellow competitors through physical confrontation and intimidation. Not to mention while already on probation. All of this goes against the unwritten gentlemen's code for competitive golf.

It's very disappointing you wouldn't take to time to understand all this before making such a decision. You have these fanboys that are going to just gobble up everything you say and blindly follow your motives. The same FB's are asking why Nikko has never had the same problems and it's because his tantrums just involve him making an ass out of himself and not intentionally trying to rattle other players because he's not on top of his game and he feels it's the only way to now gain a competitive advantage. Nikko's actions haven't warranted players to feel the need to formally complain while BW's have. pdga can't do anything about anyone without a formal complaint.

You have way too much integrity and have gained way to much respect from people in our sport to take a major stand against the definition of the kind of person that is no good for competitive golf. BW's situation is the exact time for the pdga to enforce a ridiculous suspension. He's the exact kind of person that needs to be taught this lesson for all of us. We all have heard horror stories about him or watched a YouTube video of him saying or doing something that would immediately get you punched in the face where I come from, and we all need to know and be aware of what it is to be a competitive golfer. What it truly means to be engaged in gentleman's competition with your fellow golfer. Not to wish them any ill will while hoping your best that day is lucky enough to be a stroke under their best. Our sport is too small for its best and most well known player to boycott over something that was long overdue and easily explained!

I hope the pdga doesn't blink and you are forced to figure all that out on your own or find a new profession. The real reason your fellow players won't end up joining your little boycott isn't because they can't afford to, it's because you are sticking up for the biggest jerk face that our sport has ever seen and no other player would be foolish enough to put their livelihood on the line for BW. While you think you are taking a stand against the power of the pdga your really only fighting for BW. Your fellow players have the foresight to know exactly why the pdga did what they did and that their decision benefits the majority of pdga members. If you truly believe that over the BW ruling, the pdga is just going to start suspending for arbitrary reasons your not thinking clearly. You and your fellow competitors have no reason to worry about being suspended because none of you conduct yourself in a manner befitting of BW.

They suspended him for repeated conduct detrimental to our sport with proof in the form of massive formal complaints.

Since most don't need an explanation because it's easy enough to figure out, theres your explanation, now get back to work, or don't!

More information will be available this evening. I just wanted to let you know what courses we are playing and have this thread up and going.

What I can tell you is:

A) We are using Heritage and Stocksdale (aka Bad Rock Creek)
B) We are also using Prairie Center
C) We are also using another Missouri course (Will have that tonight when I post more information)

There is a lot of little things I have to clarify today before we get the rest of the information out but we are just about there.
