I don't know about that. Maybe, but I don't think so.

So it's now allowed to recycle old captains?  It seems like the West is just rolling with this.

You guys are welcome to do so as well. I mean look what happened last time you were captain...

The best 32 players whom are found through qualifiers and captains picks are not pros nor did anyone refer to them as pros. Just the best of what we have to off in KC. What I'm getting at is that this event is pure competition. If people want to play in it they should strive to be the best and do their best to win a spot on the team. Or pay Joe an absurd amount of money to get picked as a captains choice.

And yes, the West Side has their shizzle together. We like winning. The LEast Side could only wish to be as awesome as us. Our entire team had a gourmet lunch together at the park this year. While the other guys went to Wendys and Sonic. Just sayin... And yes, you guys feel free to copy that next year. I'm sure it will help being more like us.

Thanks Tracy. It'll be good for new members to get an idea of what this event is.

IMO, a good team captain can create match ups so that even a good casual player can help his/her team.

Why would a casual golfer be playing in it? Other than qualifying at an event or being picked by a captain to help the team win?

General Banter / Re: KCFDC...the app?

Our new site, which is going to be rolled out for 2015 is 100% responsive and will work very well on any mobile device. An app would be, as mike said, redundant.

I don't think it was a rule either way for or against. I think he is just making it a rule.

First off I would like to thank everyone for voting. After thinking about it I have decided the A Tier will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The format is still to be decided but It will likely be 4 rounds w/ a final 9. Each Pool will play at least 2 courses. And I will use a minimum of 3 courses at this point. Possibly a 4th. I'm really playing with the idea of only 3 courses so that I can staff each course well to give players the best experience.

I would sincerely appreciate help from anyone and everyone who would like to be involved. After the new year I will start to reach out to a lot of you whom I know have helped in the past to do so again. If you haven't helped but want to help please feel free to PM me, email me or simply call me (if you have my #). I hope to make this the best damn A Tier event of the year and to do that I need a lot of help.

I don't want the fact that we are not an NT this year to take away from this event. We are one of the longest and strongest ran events in the history of Disc Golf and we should all be proud to call it ours. I hope most of you feel the same way and whether or not you play in this event this year or not I still can use your help. So please do not be shy to reach out to me. I'm waiting to hear from you... hello?

Anyone can vote.

I will likely follow the 6-6-4 qualifying format as well, with 6 spots selected at the Rosedale Open.

As for course selection, we should be playing at a course that plays to the EAST SIDE's strengths, and I have a few ideas on that front.  However, that discussion should take place in a more private setting.  :-X

First of all, keep your Qualifiers in your own state.

Secondly, Heritage and Lakeside are bluff moves to get you to go practice them.  Meanwhile, we will be practicing on our own private temp course, that will only be revealed to Least-siders on tee-time.  ;D

Last.....what strengths?

Bwahaha! They are strong at losing...

Joe for President.. or at least captain, 2015!

I think you already have the job.

Nor is Jack deciding what courses will be used.
Nor will any of the courses on the outskirts of the city be used good as they may be.

Just vote on the poll folks, that's all he has asked for.

At this point Water Works will be used. That I can say for certain. I'm probably going to use Swope as well. As for any other courses, that is still up in the air. Starting in January I will be calling on anyone who would like to be involved again or for the first time to meet with us and help decide the future. We had great meetings last year that seemed to help make for a strong event. We will continue that practice.

We are not even talking about courses here, we are not DD, and this is not the GBO. Nor is their model the reason they have 900 people. You are brainwashed to think that they poop gold.

But thank you for your input.

No i didn't like mine. And i had 2 identical answers.
