It won't matter how it came together if we win.  If we lose we hear you mock us for another year. IfWHEN you lose we mock you for a year.  And so the fun continues.

Still starts with an if..

You guys are cute. Finally getting you s$!@ together a week before the first qualifier. Or is this even a qualifier for you coming up? Oh boy, maybe you don't have it together. Good luck with that.

You know no matter what you try, it's never good enough.

Does everyone see that this is a conversation about when we should have leagues? What I posted are what was proposed. Now instead of talking about it, folks are pointing fingers and blaming others.

Nothing is set in stone folks. How about some discussion on this forum. That is why we have it. Next board meeting is next Monday the 9th where among other things the league schedule will be discussed/approved/etc.
The league proposal was submitted to the KCFDC and approved.

I think the above quote says differently.

I'm planning on going up Friday night.

Maybe to add the date to the title? Dunno.

Like you and Tom  ;D Boom
No more attitude from you sir!

And Nate, breaking down divisions is fine but unnecessary for dubs. Putting 2 people together on a team makes it very hard to say you are intermediate or advanced. I've seen some pretty bad players team up to be great dubs partners.

EXACTLY!

It's dubs, why would it need to be split up?

By the looks of it, there will only be 1 division for ams.

I think it's funny that someone is throwing money at one tournament with the hopes that it will truly grow the sport. All it does, IMHO, is just hold a high standard for payout the following year. And as for sustainability... uh huh. I hope it does well and they prove me wrong but this isn't the first time someone attempted it and won't be the last I assume.

I want to know what they are doing with the money? Is it just payout? Welp, that doesn't do anything but make a few people happy. Or are they using half of it to say actually put on a huge event? Players packs have a bunch of discs in it? Wow. And a shirt? Is someone pulling my leg? Again, I hope it does something great for the sport. But I bet it only does great things for one weekend. Please discuss. Argue with me. I would love to hear what other people think.

Anybody going to make it out before the tourney to shovel teepads?  SMP is quite the hike for me or I would do it myself.  It would be MUCH appreciated!!!

I cleared off the tee pads this morning. I'll try keeping them clear throughout the week.
Thanks, when we got there they were all cleaned and we had a nice round.

Can someone please explain Homie Skins to this noob?

From Rick is the best layout...
http://kcfdc.org/forum/index.php?topic=1056.msg15606#msg15606

However the gist of it is, 20 holes $1/hole, $5/overall, one tie all tie skins, heckling on the drive isn't allowed, beyond that all best are off.  Bring $25 singles and plan on losing to the people that know it well.  If you lose, you mark the box, take the doll, prominently display the doll as your loss punishment, call the course for the next week, and try to get rid of that doll on the next sucker wonderfully talented disc golfer....

You can heckle on the Tee Pad. You just can't get in front of the player while they throw and you can't touch them.

So you looked? Alright. We just went from 5% traffic on the site to 6%. Time to actually care for it I guess.

I still want to know why another event was scheduled on an already decided upon date for the EvsW? You did what you are supposed to do. You went to the board, asked for a weekend and it was granted. If we move it then it begs the question, why should we even approach the board with events? They like you should hold up their end of the bargain.

Anyway, I like the way things are and we have created a nice annual event and we should stick to it.
