you could buy lunch for the captain every Saturday kevin, I believe he gets like 4 picks

I get 5, and lunch sounds good.

People are slowly signing up for the DUI. Don't miss your chance to drink play with everyone at Kansas City's most laid back/competitive event!

Accept for the fact no one would play the team challenge... which is a club event. And we can move the course location bu that doesn't change the fact that it hurts participation.

Is it a requirement for the East Side captain to actually know which courses are being played?

No sir. The entire East side team is welcome to not know what's going on... business as usual.

The East side wants to play a Kansas course as their choice? That's odd. I say this because I did not choose WYCO.

Well, if it's in a magazine it must be true...

Actually that is true. The NT/A-Tier will be playing those three very short courses. And the B-Tier will not be. The set up is the same as last year in that regard. Everyone will play 3 rounds. And there will be a final 9 on Sunday at Swope again. There is just a few details, like Tee Times vs. Shotgun to decide. It comes down to letting the B-Tier have one of those 3 courses or not in their event.

Now, about that Sponsorship money we need to make things happen.

32nd Annual Kansas City Wide Open - June 20-22, 2014

Once again, we are part of the PDGA National Tour Elite Series. We will be seeing some of the best players in our game, shredding OUR courses that we know like the back of our hands. BUT, in order to do that, we need all the help and support we can get. This can be done two different way.
  • Volunteer
  • Sponsorship

I need YOU... to do something. I'll have a way for you to sign up soon at At that point you can let me know what days you are available and what times you can work when I need you to. What you can do for now is help me get as much sponsorship money as we can so we can give the best and most professional event possible.

Which leads to...

Download the Tri-Fold Sponsorship Form here. You can also pick a nicely printed version from me at Disc Golf World. I will try to get a more web-friendly version up soon.

I know everyone wants more details about the event and I will get to that soon. First things, first. Sponsors. Help me, help Kansas City.

Thank you!

Dick says it in 2 sentences.
Jack says it in 4 paragraphs.

Both say the same.

(have a good day Jack)

About when will more information begin starting to roll out? Such as courses, round format, cost, etc.?

Soon Rob, I promise. I'm finalizing everything so when I put it out there it is as concrete as I can make it. My biggest concern is raising money. This is where I'm a little behind due to the fact that I would have liked to have a sponsorship form for folks to get out and help raise money with me. I will get that up first and then I will get onto letting everyone know how the event will go.

Now, back to the discussion at hand. Any other ideas or suggestions?

And I will not be interjecting any opinions about peoples ideas. I am not hear to say yes or no this is good or bad but rather I would like people to continue with ideas.

^4 paragraphs. I'm as cool as Jack.

Hey everyone. I am looking for ideas for 2014 KCWO artwork. This will be featured on the Teeshirt and disc. I have an artist who I trust will do a great job and do it in a timely manner. I am just looking for ideas or concepts for me to get started.

Please take a minute and tell me what you think might look cool for this year's design. Thanks in advance!

Tank, have you changed your address to Raymore yet?

This has got me thinking lately. If someone moves mid calendar year, would they be able to play for either side? At least in the first year of the move? Or are they automatically an East Sider? Does the person get a say?
