Can someone please explain to me why JohnE didn't lay up on the area just off the tee on 17 today?  The caddy book appears to show that area as safe.

Because it's JohnE McCray. We had the discussion while he was on the teebox. No one who knew him thought he would layup. That never crossed his mind.

Because winning Am worlds makes you somebody. I'm mean, just think of the others who have won in the past.

There was that one guy from last year... oh, what's his name?

Oh, and that other guy from the year before. Man, his name is just slipping the tongue.

Oh and that one year that one guy won. He was pretty good. I wish I could remember his name.

Tournaments / Re: KC Wide Open 2015 NOT to be a NT???
« on: September 22, 2014, 03:43:44 PM »
They have been talking about doing the NT on an every other year basis for some time. 2015 just happened to be the year that it actually happened. I was informed a week after the KCWO. They want to allow towns more time to raise the kind of funds it takes to run a successful NT.

If there is an NT in 2016, the KCWO would be first to get that spot and the GBO would be an A Tier.

The inner course is full of tweeners from hell. The set up we have in store will be fun and challenging. And not take 2 days to play. This will be a great time in KC and I hope everyone attends.

Whippet Chucker - your logo is so freakin cool I'm Beverly Hills 90210 jealous.  Like, oh my gosh!  For real!

I also really like the champ logo too.  You're a beautiful person.

No...You're a beautiful person. And it actually is a rip off of some Youth Basketball championship logo dood. Not, like, ya know, BH90210. Like. Palease.

That's funny, because when we met with the P&R, we suggested that and they didn't want to go that route.

Blue Valley won't be that long. We will not even be using 13-18 in this set up. It will be a much shorter course.

I'm sorry to hear that I have to buy you lunch to play a round of Disc Golf...cuz it ain't happenin'. Jeebus-Brice, people complaining about something before it even happens. It reminds me of another event I organized this year. I must not be good at this stuff.  ::) :'( :-\ :-*

But enough of the negativity. Let's talk about who is going to win...or lose...or how cool that logo is that I made in like 15 mins.

Online registration available, or do I need to come in to the shop?

You can renew your club dues online, but as for the Club Championships, you just have to be current and check in before 9:00 am. You can bring $5 for a bag tag if you want to pre order for 2015.

There will be time scheduled for you to get lunch, but no there will not be lunch provided. Please stay tuned for the Club Elections announcement which usually includes a dinner before the elections.

Jerry Patterson owns Johnson County Electric. You may call him. Dunno if he gets on here or not.
