Don't forget about the DUI on the 22.  What do beer leaguers need more than a DUI?

Well, I have to first thank the powers that be, that allowed such a PERFECT day to do work DU.  Second, I have to thank the 13 guys who came out to do some serious work.  The phrase 'Bucket Arm' is a real thing.  I don't wish it upon anyone .   As far as what we accomplished....

Put sand on EVERY teepad except 16 (it's in good shape), including the Alternate Tee's.  We split up into 2 Teams.  Front 9 / Back 9.  As far as the front goes the team put down sand and brought up a mountain of trash. The Back 9 crew focused more on Teepad restructure and surfacing, And we did pull up trash from 14/15/17.  During league some more trash was brought up from 11.  The course is in GREAT shape.  Hole 15 has some drainage problems currently and could use some more work.  I may put a team together next saturday to try and fix it.  Hopefully it will dry out and we won't need too.

As far as who came out to bust their backs and arms...

Dave Emerson
Rich Lodes
John Oakes
John Buckle
Jamie Danger
Mike Kiezer
Dan Weinert (And his awesome ATV/Trailer.  Buy that thing, then call me for an outing:) )
Steve Glover
Bobby Villareal
Arturo Villareal (How many PROS come out and work on courses?  mexican ones. gracias)
Brad Bam Bam Meyrs

Again this kind of work can NOT be done with out your help.
Kiezer, I hate to tell you this but someone went OUT OF THEIR WAY to graffiti your HOLE 1 sign.  How high do you have to put these things?

Also on a side note, a casual golfer, whom I've seen a time or two at Rosey, gave me his number and asked to be called any time we do a work day.  I wish more people could understand the hard work we as disc golfers put into making our local courses shine.  I think we would have less 'Mike Judd is a #$*' on our trash cans.

anyway...

Thank you

Where are all these Righty holes at Rosedale you speak of?  There are a couple sure... But the course is lefty dominated.  If I played a righty friendly course I probably wouldn't care much for it.  *cough* front 9 at phill *cough*

I think there will be at least 1 or 2 more chances to play this year. But if you wanna play it I would suggest coming to this event.  The course is only for charity events.

4 per hole.  The gate to up top will be locked but we have permission to go around the ball field to that pile of sand so NO PROB.  I'll be there at 9am.  I would get there earlier but I live a ways a way and well.. 9am is early when your talking about physical labor :).  I will have 3 buckets and I know of a few more coming. The more we can fill the better.  Thank you SO much for this help .  It will make the morning go so much faster. Sorry I didn't call you yesterday but I will try today to get in touch with you. My number is 9132067157

I talked with Tim at the KCP&R about mulch.  He said he would pass the info on that we need mulch and keep it coming.  He said he would get what he could for us.

OK... This Saturday we are having a WORK DAY at Rosy Down Under.  I have permission from the KCP&R to use the baseball sand on HOLE 8.  I have talked to both the cashen's and dave about getting an ATV to carry buckets down as far as we can and drop them off to be spread.  This so far is a no go for both people.  IF ANYONE has an atv or gator that we can use for the day please come out... Other than that we will be doing it with wheel barrels .  Which trust me is not fun.  BUT this must get done before the DUI.  I would really like to NOT BE the only one out there saturday to do this so please spare some time and help better the course.  Even if you can just help for an hour, that will take care of two or three pads alone.

FOR THIS WORK DAY WE WILL NEED:

SHOVELS
BUCKETS
WHEEL BARRELS
MAN POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please expect a phone call regarding this if I have your number!
ATV or GATOR PLEASE!!!!

Ok I have fix the bug that charges you Shipping and Handling.  Thanks for bringing that to my attention.  If anyone else has problems with this feature please let me know.  Yes there is a 2.50 service fee.  Sorry.. it cost money to use these services.  Again if there is any chance of this tourny filling up I will let people know via kcfdc.org.  Other than that you are very much so welcome to sign up the day of the event.
