Ok I lied.  Nothing changed.  Everything is still the same. Check In is at ROSEDALE PARK on May 29th from 2pm-8pm.  Wyandotte / SMP on Saturday - WW and Cliff on Sunday.

Yes... Also there is probably going to be a change.

I am leaning towards Rosedale instead of Wyandotte .  I would like to keep everyone on basically 1 highway.  Other than that I believe Online Registration should be up soon and also a mail in form will be ready soon.

Good Luck.  I was just trying to save Rimdope a headache but in turn I and a few others have the headaches and have invested too much time into this topic.

again.  Good Luck

Do you have to have a pdga rating to get in?  Not everyone plays PDGA tourneys and we don't locally track these stats.

I think there should be some shake up but why turn off the regulars when you can just turn on new players somewhere else.  This is about expanding our league turnouts not pissing off the already salty players.  Regardless of what you think of them.

I think sometimes you get on a one track idea and put your blinders on and forget about what everyone else is suggesting.  Just remember we need something like this at SMP and instead of putting your efforts into making that happen or helping people put that together your just "shakin" up an already successful mini.

This is just my Opinion....

I have expressed my concern with flubbin' with SWOPE league.  Look, I know you want to do something different, BUT I believe you will do yourself a favor and less headache if you just try to convince Palmer or OTHERS to run SWOPE league as is. And you go to SMP and run this league.  Dont take money there but yet I can set up a way to take money online if you would like. OR they could mail you money or paypal whatever. Then you can try out your new system on a new generation of golfers and maybe do some good versus starting a fight with some loyal mini league players.

Again... just my opinion.

I personally throw the Pro Challenger for most putts because I believe it is a happy marriage between the Aviar and the Wizard.

Aviar : Great Feel but drops and has no glide.  Forcing the play to keep the nose up more subjecting in my opinion the disc to the wind.  Love them for windy tailwind putts though.

Wizard : Great Feel Great for Drives but ROLLS MORE THAN ANY OTHER PUTTER when it his the ground.  They glide well and hold a line better than any putter on the market.  Though the Plastic isn't worth the army men melted to produce.   The lack of consistency and the tendency to melt where you thumb touches it is annoying.

Pro Challenger : Great Feel Great Glide Great for Drives Rarely rolls unless the Indian shoots the arrow wrong at Waterworks. Holds a line .

My $100 worth of info there...

No.. You should meet at Stonewall Inn.  They are holding the party for disc golfers and they have good beer too.  Maybe 90 less than Barelys but still good :).

I'm sure you will get a lot of advice from a lot of different people.  Here is my $10 worth of information:

William Yates is a perfect place to start.  The designer John Thiess, I believe,  envisioned the course for just that, a family atmosphere where you can enjoy the outdoors with kids.  I would suggest going down to Disc Golf World with them one Saturday and pick out a simple MID RANGE/ALL ROUND disc. It gives you an opportunity to talk to local golfers and your kids can pick out their fav color.  If you don't like the social thing, check out all the great DISC GOLF websites online.  As far as first time discs, I prefer and suggest the Innova ROC.  It's a great ALL IN ONE disc.  And perfect for William Yates.    Anyway, what ever you do, have fun.

That's what I say about my alcoholism.  But then I just stop... Since it's such an important step and I'm already there why go on.
