Kiezer, The actual area in which the Tpad will go needs a little more TLC but not much.  I'd like it to be able to hold 8-10 people out of the way.  So an area needs to be created.  I know Jack is going out there tonight to work on #8.  But I was thinking this weekend I didn't have anything going on and It'll be cooler I might want to construct the temp pad, and get it ready for concrete.  I myself am still debated if I'm going out there tonight at all.  FOr some reason it's easy to say I'd go outside while I'm sitting in the A/C.  I'll let you know on here if I'll be there Sat.  if you want to come out and work.  It'll be a 2 man job tops.

That goes for anyone.  I may have small work days out there leading up to the LDO for anyone that can help.  I'm thinking about erecting a small stage on #8.  The Tpad on #1 and any other LITTLE things we can do to just spice the course up.  Even Trash pick up.  I know #1 has a little more to do there.  There are only so many Diapers a man can pick up and throw at his fellow disc golfers in one day.  Sorry Kiezer

Today's work day was a somewhat productive day.  #10's long placement has been cleared out and moved.  And #1 may soon have an alternate T-Pad.  Jack, Let's do one more day of work to make a Tpad and debut it at the LDO.

Ah ok.

What is the diff between Rec and Novice Division?

I can throw pretty good, accurate enough to par most of the holes there, but rarely birdie.

I'm sure I'll get eatin alive by da pro's there...UGH...

If you play "par" golf you should be able to compete for winnings in the Novice division.  With the course set up longer for the first round I'm guessing that Novice players will average +6, Intermediate leaders will be at even par or -2, Advanced leaders will be -6, and Open leaders will be at -10.  The second round...that all goes out the window cuz the course will be short and very dueceable.

Uh Intermediate will only shoot -2 because you deano and ben taylor sandbagged down to that level.

I just got back from Golden's art show.  Golden is a very gifted and mature kid.  I guess the name fits.  Awesome show Golden!  I hope your interview turns out ok.  I tried my best

Rick, I think its cool you allowed that to take place.  I think you should feature Golden and other disc golf artists every or everyonce and a blue moon in your place.  With the mini golf around the building, alot of people where stopping in their tracks.  Great exposure for the artists and for the sport.  anyway, Kate and I enjoyed it.  Thank you

I like both Jack AND John's idea.  Make it a more deucable hole and also trickier for the righty with an arm.
and then when you go to the island it will still be a tough shot.  Then you have a true SHORT and LONG placement.  Not just a long and a really long.

Just a small update on the Lion's Den Open 2008!

1. Flying Monkey Beer has signed on to provide us with 2 1/2 barrels
2. Bob Hyatt's band Fisherman Bob and the Blue Fin Tuna Band will be playing 3:00pm-5:00pm
3. Doubles registration is $5.00 and starts and 5:00.  I would like to have it started by 5:30pm.

That means - Registration is at 11:00am - 1:30 so get there early to enjoy the food and beer.  and after your round is over hang out finish off the beer (if it isn't gone by then) and enjoy some good music, Mini Golf and other fun things.

I am looking for donations of prizes for ctp, mini golf, ect..   Email me or call me if you have anything to offer please.  More importantly I would like this years to be the biggest and best.  So please this party is perfect for those friends of yours who you want to show the game to, but at the same time party their tooshies off!
