Here is everything except Swope Gold. I'll have to update that tonight or tomorrow. Let's call this the unofficial setup as I didn't look to see that everything is accurate from what is in the caddy book. But I'll verify it over the next couple days.

Save the date!
6-19-14, from 5 pm - 6 pm, when the PDGA hosts its NT Clinic at Swope Park. The best part? It's FREE!

  2X World Champion Paige Pierce
3x SoCal Tour Series Champion Philo Brathwaite
13X Florida Tour Points Leader JohnE McCray

Immediately after that, head on over to the Swope Pavilion for the 7 pm Opening Ceremonies.

We are also still looking for great people in our community to help out as a volunteer. Let myself or Eric Kolkmeier know so we can get you out to a course to help out.

While you're correcting the times on the schedule you might want to update Pool D for Sunday at Water Works. I believe one says 8am and the other states 8:30am. FYI

Thanks. I thought we caught all the mistakes. But there is one I didn't catch. The additional items as far as date and day for the opening ceremonies is something I'm just waiting on my tech team to update.

9 am at swope.

50 has a full schedule up.

As far as the B-Tier check in. You can either check in Thursday where you will be able to pick up your players pack and see the opening ceremonies or you can check in at Rosedale EARLY before your round and get your caddy book. You will need to attend the party Saturday night to get the rest of your players pack. Or on Sunday during the finals at Swope.

How is the I-70 to & 7 hwy exit to get to the course?

It can get backed up now that there is only one left turn lane available at the light.

Riverview bridge over 70 is open, so coming in the back way from 110th could be a better option.

I'll put both options in the players guide, but highlighting riverview. I think that is the best way in personally.

as some looking to join this league next season i think you should think bout splitting the ace fund that way when some one does hit it.  it wont dwindle back to almost nothing.

I believe at all KCFDC leagues an ace pays half the ace fund, so the fund usually stays hearty unless several rapid aces are hit in succession.

You are correct. Although, there are leagues that are non KCFDC that will pay out 100%. Sometimes.

Replacement flags will be in today. Come by and get them when you are ready.

We are still looking for volunteers to help with spotting and other needs at each course. If you can help out, even if only for 1 day, please fell out the form below and sign up. You get a free Dri-Fit Shirt for your volunteerism and we will have a volunteer party after the event just for you. It pays to volunteer folks. Help me make this year a success!

when/where will the flymart be ?  do you have room for more vendors ?  how much for a booth ?

For the last few years, we have not had a "Flymart" night. We have always had the sponsoring vendors at Swope Park all day on Sunday lined up along hole 4. If you want to talk to me about getting in on that, you would need to contact me and we can work something out.

Do we have a current list of the ground rules?
Was the final decision was that a participant's primary residence must be on the side where you play?

Also, could Tracy please remind everyone about the charitable cause for which we are playing.

I understand why we don't have am and masters divisions.   Beyond a handful of pros on each side, it would be tough to fill a roster without ams and old guys.  But, why don't we have a women's division?  Is it because there are not enough west side women who want to play?

It was a captain's vote. For the record, West Side voted to keep the women's division. But was fine with it either way so we went with the lEast Side decision.

Eastwood, I get what your saying. The problem is is that there are people who won't play if they have to play for the East side. Regardless of what you may think of that persons opinion, it is what it is. This allows people to continue to play in the event on the side they would like to play for.
