I the weather holds and we get close to 50deg on Sunday, I maybe able to talk Beth into playing mix-dubs with me. Anyone else interested in mixed-dubs?

I'm putting in 6 holes in the land behind 8. Three are playable and 3 still need a little cleaning up. A good month and it will be complete
Cool!! So that brings the total to 43 or was those other six included in the 37 count. Just checking so I know how many more you need to get it to a number evenly divisible by 9/18. If you get to 45, could have five separate nine hole courses or two full length 18 with an executive nine

Agree on the land lock issue. Unfortunate that we lost the two holes on the south side a few years ago, putting those back in would make it 36, but would cause serious issues with the land owner across the street. Is there any room in the woods behind hole-8? That would be kind sweet to get back in there.
I hope to get to league soon and check these out with a "guide".

Has anyone here ever played or seen the Animals course in Warwick NY? It has two pads (Blue/Silver) and two pins(Blue/Silver) on EVERY hole. If you play BLUE to BLUE you have a monster with tunnel drives and tight approaches. If you play Silver to Silver, it is very much a beginner course. Then you can play Blue to Silver for more challenging tee shots and Silver to Blue for more challenging approaches AND possibly tee shots.
I had only been playing for about 4 months when I was there in '08, but we played three rounds and had a variety of shots on all three.
Is there room for something like this in KC, I say yes. Anyone else?

Four out for league tonight. We played 1,2,9 and 12,15,18 short.
Matt came for revenge, but Tom pulled even on 18 with a 4 shot swing. But then Tom doinked a short put in the first playoff hole to give it away.

We were done with plenty of daylight left so we could go again, but I have a board meeting (and a possible work stoppage at my company).

We played the following short pads for time: 1,2,6,7,9,12,15.
Gary, Matt and Tom all three parked two-short-pad to long placement. Gary and Tom with up and over annies and Matt with a flick over the top. All three converted the birds.
It was a see/saw match between Gary, Matt and Tom, but Tom converted the bird on three and saved par on four to take the win.
Bill, Tyler and Greg made the turn pretty even, but Tyler held them off with birds on both short holes (12,15) to take the win.
We will go again around 5:15 (pick some other shorties for this week to beat the sun).
