Shawnee Mission / Need a hand to run Shawnee league tonight

Hey all, I've been trying to get it worked out to where my back isn't messing with me to run league this evening, and it doesn't look like it's cooperating very well.  It's just too stiff to do it right now, and I'm needing someone to run it for me this evening, if at all possible.  If it comes down to it, I can get it started, but, doesn't look like I can play this evening.  All help appreciated, and sorry for the short notice.

Four folks out for some disc'n at Shawnee Park.  Me thinks the numbers are down just a bit due to the Wide Open prep/practice, for the tourney this coming weekend, which is totally understandable.  Mike Murphy took the honors tonight, shooting a even round 54.  I also reminded myself that I need to get out there and get some ranges, for the new pin placements, and get the tee signs updated.  Anywho......below are the results.

Brad got the CTP and won himself a lovely prize, and no Ace was hit, bringing the Ace Fund to $278.

Well apparently, folks weren't just missing Jack's meeting Tuesday evening, because they weren't at Shawnee League either.  I'm just gonna blame it on the holiday weekend....lol  Three people, including myself, out for a nice evening of disc golf, and Shanan Carson won with a 54.  Below are the results...

Pro1 Division

No Ace was hit, bringing the total to $274.  The CTP was hit by yours truly, me.

Twas' a cloudy, yet enjoyable, evening for some disc'n at Shawnee Park.  8 people out for it, and two divisions played.  I think the new pin placements threw some folks off this evening, because Arturo's 53 led the Open (Pro1) card, and made it appear to others that he was human after all...lol  Tom Butler took the Pro2 division with a smokin' round of 49! Below are the full results......

Tournaments / First Class Challenge - Des Moines 28th-29th

I'm headed to Des Moines next weekend for the First Class Challenge.  Who all is heading to this?  I've seen a few folks signed up, and they have 90 folks registered total already.

13 people out for a "breezy" round of disc at Shawnee Park.  Arturo, once again, proved he is Arturo winning the Pro1 division with a 48.  Matt Hays took Pro2 with a 54, and Deano took Masters with a 53.  Below are the list of results......

League tonight at Shawnee!  Sign-ups will be from 5:00 til 5:20, to allow me time to get cards made.  Tee off at 5:30 (Weather permitting of course)  CTP will follow the round, but, may have it set on a certain hole as well.  Depends on the local traffic on the course.  Be there, or be square!

Shawnee league is today!  Come one, come all, on what is supposed to be one of the most grandest of days!  Temps in mid-70's, abundant sunshine with little to no wind!!  There will also be CTP for club members as well!  A big thanks goes to Tom "Frodo" Butler for running league for me, as I will be at the concert this evening!  I believe he's planning on taking sign-ups from 5:00 to 5:20, teeing off at 5:30, so be there!!!

Hey everyone, I've got a sorta urgent request for this coming Tuesday league out at Shawnee.  Forgot about tickets I purchased for me and my dates concert this Tuesday. (Will get me arse kicked, if she finds out....lol)  Didn't forget the tickets, as much as I didn't realize it was this week...lol...oops! 

Just reply back here, and we can get something arranged, if you don't already have the stuff to do league!

Tomorrow, I'll be there at 5 to start taking sign-ups, with a 5:30 start time.  Supposed to be pretty nice temp wise, and a little windy.  Just not as windy as today or yesterday.

Also, would be nice if someone who has run league before could show up and play as well.  It's my first time running league, and just wanna make sure everything goes smoothly.

Should be a good time!  Come on out!
