Shawnee Mission / Course Committe Meeting Info

Hello all,

Since what I gather is that I'm heading up Shawnee Mission course, and by the way, I'm totally good with this, since I live in Shawnee. I was wondering where I would get the keys to the pins, contacts for who I need to work with, and any other pertinent information I would need, in order to do what I need to do for the course.  I realize most folks already know what they need to do, talk to, etc. for their courses, but, I need a little guidance as to the who, what, and where's to Shawnee.  Appreciate any help that can be given to assist me in this.

Found and Lost / Lost Star Valkyrie - Wyco....maybe?

Over the course of this weekends events, I've lost my Star Valkyrie.  It's pinkish, with a purple swirl. In the center of the stamp, it has the DD marked on it.  It has my name and number on the back.  I THINK I lost/left it at Wyco, but, I guess it could be at PC as well.  I didn't attempt to want to throw it until Swope yesterday afternoon.  That's when I noticed it missing.

Gotta love the vagueness of it all....lol

Found and Lost / Found: White Evolution Pro-Line Rage at Wyco

I found a White Evolution Pro-Line Rage at Wyco last week in the tree line of #9 last Friday.  Has the name of Kyle Gardner on it, and the phone number listed is out-of-service.  PM me if you are him, or know of him.  Otherwise, I'll drop it off at DGW sometime this week.

Well, I've finally cashed in a tourney.    Got myself 3rd place in Adv. Masters today!  A good time was had by all, and it felt good to get me a little swag.

General Banter / Lost Valkyrie at Swope #13....(go figure)

Last week, I lost my green Champion Valkyrie, I believe 175G, on #13.  It went waaaay down the hill, about a third of the way up the fairway.  Just haven't had a chance to go down and look for it yet.  My name and number are on it.  Thanks.

I didn't see an Ace Report started for this year yet, so, I'm starting one now. 

Got's me an Ace today at the Tulsa Pro/Am on Chandler Park - Moose Run, Hole 12!!!

Nice 200ft., or so, Destroyer skip hyzer, around the corner, nothing but chains! 

Got it on the last hole of the first round.  As far as the Ace fund goes, got to split it with another fellow by the name of Sean, who happened to be on the same card as myself, and he Aced the very next hole, starting the second round!  Pretty cool stuff, and netted $110.....sweet

Hey all,

Just thought I would shoot out here that I just found out that my company reimburses $30 a month for....

Sports Team/Club/Class Dues
&
Athletic Event Registration Fees

Found that I qualified, because well, Disc Golf IS a physical activity/exercise, and I just need to submit the right paperwork to be reimbursed.

Kinda like a mini sponsorship!  If you haven't already looked into it, you might want to see if your company does something like this.  Could save some bucks down the road.

Found and Lost / Lost 2010 Worlds Katana at Swope

Yep, second times the charm on 13 Sunday at Swope.  My stubbornness to get the darn thing to flip in that wind just caused it to go super hyzer on me, and go all the way down, pretty much to the tracks...lol.  I was, well, it was the second round of beer league....nothing else needs to be said about my status....lol.  Needless to say, didn't feel like making the jaunt all the way down the hill and back up again at the time.  I may be able to go out tomorrow after work and look for it, but, if I'm not able to make it, thought I would post here.  Has my name and number on it.

General Banter / Coolest BAD shot I ever threw.....

Yesterday at Swope, after beer league, we played the first 4 holes, and on the first hole, I semi-griplocked my drive.  It shot directly into the second tree on the right side of the fairway, and split a branch and stuck hard into the tree, resting in between the branch I split!  We tried for a bit to get it out, not to mention, it was really stuck, but, due to the coolness in nature, I decided to leave it there for the time being.  Just thought I would leave a demonstration of the power that is my arm for all to see!   

On that note, it's a Hell on the Border Wraith.  Glow color and has my name and number on it.  If someone retrieves it, you can either call me or drop it off at DGW, and thanks!

I just found out that as long as you can prove you're a military Veteran, you will be granted a free meal next Wed., the 11th. (Veterans Day)!!!  Just go to their website, www.applebees.com , and it will give you the specifics!  Eat hardy, and an early Thank You to all Veterans!!!

General Banter / Brian Palmer is goin' down!

I accepted a 3 stroke advantage from Mr. Brian Palmer today, to have a bit of a rematch of the round I let slip by today.  Yeah.....I goofed it.  Somehow, he's in the belief that my Rating has something to do with my ability as of late....lol.  I not only will take the 3 strokes, that he so graciously granted me, but, I will also throw in a 12 pack of his choice if he likes as well.  Sandbagger vs. The Determined .  Stay tuned!  This could get interesting!  (Giggity!)
