Just throwin' it out there......Since I/we'll be up in KC for this tomorrow in the first place, I'm willing to drop if someone just happens to have 2 Game 1 2 tickets handy, and depending on price.  8)

Heading down to Wichita in the next few days.  What's the best course in that area?

Btw, when's the Round Up? Rumor is Nov 7th. Can you confirm?

I wouldn't give it a "hands down" by any means, but, with the new MachX's, and new pin placements, it's a pretty sweet layout now.  Although, Herman Hills is a pretty sweet track as town.  The other courses I would hit up are in Derby @ Stone Creek park, and Camp Hawk in Newton.  Both of those are pretty sweet.  Camp Hawk is Smitty's baby, and it's a cool combo of, with some bomber holes.  There's some water on some of the holes as well.  Derby is a pretty sweet, well maintained 18 hole with some water on some holes.  Hole 9 is the only "huh?" hole, but besides that, good track as well.  Derby and Camp Hawk aren't that far from Wichita.  Probably a 30 minute drive overall, which should be nothing for a die-hard, disc golfin', Kansas Citian.

Hope that helps  8)

And, I believe that's correct.  Nov. 7th for the Round-Up.  Come on down!

I'm looking to play this, but, gotta get the "okeedoke" from the other half first.  ;D

I want to say that I had a great time, even though I was apparently sleep walking thru at least the first round (literally).  The second round, who the h&ll knows what I was doing.  Anyway, I digress.  Overall, it was the usual awesomeness that I've come to know from KC.  My only thing was that it felt like there was a round missing somewhere, even though my score wouldn't have mattered anyway.  I finally started playing respectable with 4 holes to go.  Whoda' thunk it.  I'm still digressing.....who's my post!    ;D  :P

Oh yeah.....Not sure yet, as the jury is still out, but, I think there's a certain Steeler Doug, (not mentioning any names.....wait....), who's now got a bonifide mortal enemy in Bom (dang...did it again....)  ::)  ;D

It's his Nemesis!  ;D

As the thread drifts......  :P

It resulted in a waste of time. As for the golf, I have no idea.

Fun Fact! I could care less what you did on every hole, every time you played it, before that day in which you are playing it with me, as I see from the result of you last shot(s) of how bad you are. Even though you are trying to get it across to me and everyone else, including the trees, that you are much better than this. Regardless if you set the course record. I get that you must have those skills. On that topic you don't have to tell me about said course record every 6 holes. I got it the first time, both rounds.

Oh and I saw some people I knew. Like James, Loomis, Isaac and others.

There is much more but I will not spread those rumors online where it can come back to haunt me.

Is he still in your head there Dick?  For everyone else, it wasn't me getting into his  Dick did master the ability to play on the "party card" though  ;D

Also, it was nice to see familiar faces from another time and space.  8)

Oh, and thanks for the beer(s)!  ;D

That's pretty much the norm for Rosie this time of year.

Will the course be open for practice too?

It will be open for all......except Doug......Steeler......Doug....... :P

Forget your opponents; always play against par.

Yup  8)

At this point, I'm hoping work doesn't f**k me right now.  Still looking forward to it though!  *friggin' quarterly patching*  >:(

Looking at Harold's post, either he was using his phone, or he was in the middle of having a stroke.  Hope your OK buddy! ;D

There will be a good 40-50 show up day of.  Nobody signs up early for Salina.  Course is great though!

I can second that....most tourney's this part of the state get hammered the day before and day of over in these here parts.  Got some open holes, and wooded alike.

We made a public request to everyone a long time ago asking them to at least include their full name in their tag line and it worked to some degree. New users still create screen names but a lot of people have their name listed now. Perhaps we could include something in the registration process that indicates that they won't be approved unless they include their actual name.

I don't deal with that side of IT all that much, as I'm a server guy but, it shouldn't be that difficult to add a "required" line for the name option.  How you would incorporate that to the however many "members" that are currently on here is another ball of wax entirely.
