Found and Lost / Found a buzz at hole 17 SMP

I found a bar stamped buzz on Hole 17.  I found it way off to the right of the fairway.  If you lost it please identify the disc and I'll get it back to you.

Tournaments / 2015 KC Corporate Challenge

A lot of companies are having tryouts in the next couple weeks.  My buddies company has 14 guys competing in a tryout!  I think its a testimony to how well the sport continues to grow in our area.

I played Swope yesterday and it was set fairly short.  Is it currently set in the corporate challenge pin settings?  What about pads?  Are women going to play short pads and men play longer pads?

Tournaments / Filming lead card on Rosie Open and Kan-u-Wyco --- Tee sign source images?

Phil Ellis and I are going to work together to put some videos together for the Kan-u-Wyco and Rosedale Open.  He will be doing the filming and I offered to take on the editing. 

Are the tee sign source images available for these two course to be used in video?  I am not sure who retains rights to these images, most likely the club?  If these source images aren't available I might try and cut up these images:

Shawnee Mission / GLOW CANCELLED!

We weren't pulling in the numbers so I'm cancelling it.  I think having 3 different glow leagues across the city on Tuesday diluted the available player pool. 

I am thinking next year if I put up a couple flyers or something we should be able to pull in some of the locals that don't currently frequent this site.

We are going to do random draw dubs day - glow at SMP on Tuesday @ 6pm for the month of October.

$5 - full payout  and a ranger bag as an ace prize!

The park stays open til 11 pm until Nov 1 when it switches to 8pm.

Shawnee Mission / GLOW RANDOM DRAW DUBS - 10/1/2013 @ 6:00

I have several people interested in playing glow @ SMP.  Here is some information:

Format: Random Draw Doubles - We will draw cards a couple minutes before we start.
When: First date will be 10/1/2013.  Be signed up by 5:45.
Cost: $5 - Full Payout - This is not a KCFDC league.
Ace Fund Cost: $0 - I don't plan on starting one initially.  This could certainly change if this has enough interest.  However,  to try and spark interest I am going to offer up my Am Worlds DD Ranger Bag as an ace prize!

We had 5 out for a beautiful evening of disc golf.

We started at 5:45 and since we were rolling with 5 and then added a player half way through we were only able to play 17 holes.

Steve T: DNF...lost a disc on 17 and didn't want to risk another.

This was the last league of the year.  Thanks to everyone who attended though out the season!

We had 4 out for a nice chill evening.

We placed the temp basket across the road from hole 7 and made a temp hole.  We threw from the pavilion down between two small ponds.  Thankfully everyone stayed dry.

We decided that throwing anywhere from the pavilion was good.  When Ben asked if it was OK to throw from the picnic table I knew I should get my phone out for a pic.

Be signed up by 5:30.  We need to start @ 5:45 at the latest.

Also, Carl / Mark won on 9/10 and they came to consensus that the temp basket will be placed on top of a hay bale!

We had 8 out.  Apparently, most of us forgot how to play with a slight breeze.

A lot of the tall grass was baled up which gave us the opportunity to put the temp basket on a long left position for hole 4.  This ended up being a tricky hole.  The average score ended up being 5 on it.
