I just put a Quest Wildfire in the disc drop at Rosie. Interesting design. Found between tee 1 and basket 4 up top. Has name Paddy on it.

Found and Lost / found disc bag + discs - Prairie Center
« on: December 29, 2012, 11:43:50 AM »
Found disc bag with discs on picnic table at Prairie Center.  I was first on the course this morning and it was sitting there.   I tried calling the number on disc but it was disconnected.  It was still there when I finished my round so I dropped it off at Disc Golf World.  Name+number on disc = Larry Sherley 785.418.6779

I think I am going to bring a few discs into the office to place on my desk for conversation starters.

I hung a couple of discs from my cubicle wall with the big binder clips.  There isn't a week that goes by that some doesn't ask a (positive) question about them.

I already planned on being at Blue Valley at 7:30.  If you end up there, that would be great.

Found and Lost / #7 Kearney Course
« on: July 01, 2012, 02:05:47 PM »
Lost a yellow TL on the new course in Kearney in the trees between the road and fairway on #7.  Looked for 1/2 hour with no luck - must be hiding in a tree.  name and number on it - if found, please drop it off at one of the disc golf stores or text me.  thanx, Anthony

I threw two rounds(59 and 54) this morning and found it to be a fun and challenging.  Not a very long course so a weenie arm like myself could get some reward for well placed shots.  I'll definitely go back

Blue Valley / Re: Beautiful Blue Valley
« on: September 05, 2011, 08:40:24 PM »
A buddy and I played a round at Blue Valley this afternoon and the course looks great.  The mini-water park near the #1 tee lot is very cool and should *hopefully* bring more families out there instead of sketchy people.  Their were new short pads on 9 and 10 that should bring some more short-arms out there in the future.  The roughs weren't cut recently, but not bad to look for discs in.  The fairways looked good.

All in all, the course is looking good and I want to put it in my play rotation more often.

They have one more left and it has the red trim.  Normal price: $149, I paid $75 for the last yellow-trimmed one. The one I got is the newer 5 legged one, not the older 4 legged ones.  I threw a few discs at it and I was surprised how well it grabbed.
