From the map Palmer provided, park at the end of the shelter/playground lot, not the maintenance building lot. Tee 1 is at the end of that parking lot

I'm going to play at Legacy at 12:30(give or take a few minutes) on Friday afternoon.  C'mon by.

or you can just download the disc golf one dated 9/10 and miss all the non-discgolf stuff.  Of course, you will miss the song that Rick mentioned, but it doesn't look like that is a big loss :)

If your serious I would be more than willing to shoot one of them and giving you whatever meat off it you would like.

No can do, the nazi home owners association would have a field day with us, although it is tempting.  Hell they are so close to our deck you could just jump on the back of one with a knife

Awesome  :o  The deer thought it was a feeder though - smart Bambi  :)

The girlfriend was not happy when I put the basket in the backyard as she thought it would scare the critters away.  She was not happy to see these pics because she knows it's staying now.  I told here I would put a salt lick block in it when not in use - she wasn't amused :)

got a full round in early Sunday morning.  Really liked the placement on 10 and 12, but just couldn't figure out how to throw 16 - I just don't have the arm to huck it over the trees and hope it falls in a good place.   This course is a pain in the ass, but I really dig it.  I didn't keep score, but guess I threw about a 65.

I played last weekend and they trimmed around the basket on 4 and the tree in the middle of 14.  Probably more but those are the two I remember.  The grass is so low now - I like this course more everytime I play it

Legacy Park - Lee's Summit / Two pulled baskets at Legacy?

Anybody know why baskets 10 and 11 are pulled/gone?

I thought it might just be they got lost in the tall grass... ;)

Legacy Park - Lee's Summit / fresh mow at Legacy

Drove by Legacy tonight and it looks nice an mowed.  Also, they cut a good chunk of high grass out between 10 and 11.

I will be out there at 8am'ish Saturday morning if anyone interested in playing a round.

nope, free.  I did go to the concession stand to get permission, but they didn't seem to need to be asked.  Course sign to the right of the path that leads behind the clubhouse.  Take a good look as there was no tee signs to get to the next hole.

fun little course, I know I will go back.

i would agree.  A friend an I got a chance to play that course for the first time during Worlds.  We played with a couple of pros and the guy who runs the course(Riley?).  We were pleasantly surprised on this nice little course.  You should be able to buzz through it fairly quickly, but don't think it can't be challenging.

I played this afternoon and it was a better experience than I have had in the past.

The grass was mowed earlier in the week and that helped quite a bit.  There were some wider fairways that really helped and they cleared out some brush from some of the tree groupings that were next to the baskets(notably on 2 and 7).

They could easily mow some of the fairways wider and would make this a MUCH better course, but I understand this takes time.

Palmer, keep up the good work.  It sounds like the parks department is open to ideas - we appreciate it
