"It" is referred to as stick golf...not ball golf.   :)

You know you are an addict when you wake yourself up at night with a great follow through

Yep, nearly every night for the last 16 years and 9 months.   :)

Rob, thank you for your interest and we are not trying to bring you down at all. This is a great thing to have so many interested parties.

Agreed.

WYCO / Re: Moving league to Wednesday?
« on: March 14, 2014, 10:32:04 AM »
I 'was' a WyCo regular for many, many years.  I've since chosen to spend my Friday nights with my gal and rarely make WyCo league night anymore for the last several years.  Breaking a longtime tradition will always make some waves...you can count on that.  If there was much discussion about this move, then I sure missed it.

I don't have much of an opinion about doing WyCo league PDGA-style.  I'm not even sure if this is mandatory or optional.  If one is not a member or is non-current, can one opt out?  Spending the extra $1 is a non-issue.

I coined the WyCo Friday Night league as "The Perfect End to an Imperfect Week".  Wishing I had made some shirts with this and some kind of artwork as a memorabilia.   :'(

IFF this move to Wed night is permanent, I hope it makes WyCo League Night better in the long run.  Otherwise, move it back...for tradition's sake.

Seems more and more popular.  The days of the book are soon gone.

...& the days of buying a disc to see how it flies ~ will live on.   :D

General Banter / Re: Squids?
« on: February 26, 2014, 02:52:35 PM »

Agreed.  But what is the fee?

How about $2-4...?  (My '98 DX Roc would be worth $10 easy...to me)

Hell, there's a certain amount of sadistic pleasure in throwing someone's disc BACK...and, well, these squids are already into perversive acts.  :-X

god bless the 'squids' or anyone else with the bravado to recover discs, legally or not. these heroes of our game greatly increase a players opportunity to get back that which was lost or forgotten.

...and squids DESERVE a retrieval fee.  AND, IFF the owner does not wish to pay this, I think the squid should just simply throw their disc back into said body of water.
