Jackson Park in Atchison is a GREAT course...when it's mowed/recently mowed.
Charlie, keep us up-to-date as to when they mow ~ I/we will make the trek up there to throw a round or two.

General Banter / I-70/East Lawrence Exit CLOSED
« on: April 10, 2010, 10:24:27 AM »
Just an FYI:

The East Lawrence Exit is completely closed for up to 8 months due to construction/reconfiguration.

If coming from KC and wanting to play Riverfront you will need to take 24/40...OR...use the West Lawrence Exit and do some backtracking.

Ace on!!

I don't know the name, but the hotel with Bruff's Sports Bar attached to it is the only way to go!

Lake Cunningham seemed be a bit more thumber friendly off the tee...though, as previously noted, many of the holes are (VERY) blind shots.  You'll prolly want a guide.  :o

Seymour Smith had some foliage/canopy issues making a roller a necessary approach shot if you don't land your drive well.  I'm just glad I had an Optimizer in the quiver...cuz I literally needed it.

IFF you can, play both...we'd like to hear your review!  8)

You might get $45 for a new/mint one if you found the right buyer...
Otherwise, I'd say $15-25 for a used one sounds fair - only because they're no longer made.

Brad Meyrs (sp?) used to putt with these...though I believe he switched to soft Rhynos due to availability issues.
