After the hot water treatment you will semi-literally have a new bag of discs that fly differently -> more overstable than before. 

Best advice: don't do this the night before a tournament (or you'll be as sorry as I was).

Play Open in some leagues.  You'll get a $5 DG lesson from 2-3 better players that is actually/literally priceless.

We need more doubles' formats in evening leagues at least once/month.  This is a great way for newbies to get their feet wet by learning from more experienced players & to learn the rules firsthand.

GLOW is difficult for a 'Cali' as one would need more glow-discs to be better prepared for possibly 2 of every shot.  Perhaps a team of 3 would better suffice for an odd # of players?

Mike Penney, you are a valuable member of/to this club.  Over the years you've logged many hours & have made a difference...a big difference.  
As an elected (by the voting members) CC...there are duties at Swope that the other courses do not require ie manning the clubhouse, etc...  Sounds like you fulfilled many areas that being a CC requires.  
If there were a suggestion box I would have requested more basket movement...that is all.

Why have a doubles tournament commemorating the longest day(s) of the year on the shortest course possible? I like birdies too, but come on!

In case you hadn't noticed, the solstice event is more about fun than competition.  That, and 114 people+long course= Chaos.
