Swope / Swope League 2011

Hey All -

This coming Monday, April 4, Swope League will be getting under way for the season.  Tee off will be at 5:30, and we will be playing the short tee pads (just to get us started).  Please be registered by 5:15.  If you can't make it in time, but want to play, give me a call at 816-665-1906.

This will be my first time running league, so suggestions and constructive criticism will be gladly taken.

Lost a Red Champion Wraith on hole #18 (in the water).

Lost a White Soft Magic on hole # 10 (in the water).

If anyone decides to go diving for discs out there, there is definetly a reward to be gotten.  Both have my name and number on them.

General Banter / Monday Morning Loafing

I am planning on setting out to play a round or two on Monday morning.  I have not had a chance to play since the Club Championships due to a hurt back...I think I can finally play again.  Is there anyone available for a round or two?  I can meet at just about any course (I have not played Young's in a while, so that is a thought).

According to the 2010 Kansas City Tournament Schedule thread, the Club Championships are October 2 and 3.  Being only 10 days out, what are the details for this "tourney?"  What courses are being used and on which days?  When will they be set up so we can practice?  Just wanting to get some details here.  Thanks!

While looking for my lost green Beast on Swope #12, I came across a Discraft Crush.  Looks like it has been there awhile as it is faded and dirty.  No name or number.  Describe to get it back.  If no one correctly describes (or guesses??), I will sell to the highest bidder (or take to DGW)!

Found and Lost / Lost Beast #12 Swope

I lost a yellow-green Champion Beast today at Swope #12.  It immediately hit the vines wrapped in the fence and then I lost sight of it.  It may have gotten wrapped up in the vines, or gone over the fence into the P and R lot.  Could not find it when I looked there either.  It has my name and number on it.  This is a special disc as it has a custom design on it (my 3 year old daughter took a bunch of colored sharpies to it).

I lost a blue 2009 Ace Race Focus Putter on Cliff Drive #2 (LDO #3).  I used it for my upshot and put a little too much anny on it and it went hard right into the woods past the basket (long position).  Name and number are on it.  Thanks!

Found and Lost / Wide Open Lost and Found

About a dozen discs were turned in today at all 3 courses of the Wide Open.  I have reached out to everyone that had their phone # on their disc, but many did not have a name/number.  All lost and found discs will be taken to Swope for the Award Ceremony, and then taken to DGW.  I would post what they are, but I dont have them in front of me.

General Banter / Disc drawing

Hey, I am wanting to take some of my discs with faded stamps and put a cool design or drawing on them.  What is the best way to remove the rest of the old stamp so I can have a blank disc?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
