When I arrived at 8:00, there was a Kansas City Star photographer taking shots of the players as they were teeing off on # 1 up top.  He then moved down to the shelter and was taking pics of the chili contest and the players who were milling about and registering.  After that, I was out playing and did not see him again.

I had a blast out there today.  The weather was great...warm and sunny with no wind.  It was a little crowded. 

Ghostrider and Colby, thanks for a great first round.  Hope you did well the second round as well. 

Rick and the other organizers, I think you put on one heck of a tourney.  Kudos to making it work and keeping everything flowing pretty smooth.  Thanks for the great day.

I was thinking the same thing, Ash!  I have tried to return every disc that I have found...I only have one with a name on it that I could not find the owner of, and have begun to use it.  My thinking is that if I find a name on a disc, I get it back to that person.  If there is no name on it, I still post to find the owner, but usually end up keeping those.  Since living in KC, I have not had a single disc returned to me, but that does not mean that I dont try to find the owner when I find lost discs.

With that being said, I think that it is wrong to be buying other's lost discs, and will stop buying from Craig's List.

Swope / Saturday round - 01/16/10

Hey all, I have not had a chance to play for a couple of weeks and am itching to get out.  Anyone interested to meet at Swope on Saturday morning for a round?  It is supposed to be a nice day.  I was thinking about 9:00am, as I have to work in the afternoon.  I could meet earlier too, maybe get a couple of rounds in.  It would be a good time to swap some tags.
