Heading down to Wichita in the next few days.  What's the best course in that area?

I was out there yesterday, and there's not much difference between the long grass OB areas and the fairways across the entire park. It will probably be tough to play "long grass OB" unless there's a painted line or they mow the fairways short again before the 18th.

One other thing, will there be a Mando left for the tree immediately to the right of 14's tee pad?  I've heard that big arms can throw over all the trees toward the lake.  It's about 430' to the pin with this route, but to get to a landing area on 15's fairway is only about 330'.

Have the course layouts for round 1 and round 2 been decided?

Still a lot of space left...E-town is a fun place to play, and J's burgers Braum's alone is worth the drive.

It has to be farther than 261' as well, correct?

On Google Earth it's 290' to clear the water and 315' to the pin.

I was out there today and I agree, the courses look great.  One question, on hole 2 at P.C. the short tee box was mulched, not the long tee.  Will we be playing from the short tee to the island hole?

Any hope to see Dick Parker playing at this event?  You're eligible!

Not to rehash the conversation from last year about pros playing am, but I noticed one competitor jumped over 970 with the last ratings update.  If he's taken cash, is he still eligible to play?  I was under the impression that if your rating is over 970 and you've taken cash, you become ineligible for am events until you drop down under 970.

A tier typically draws in a fewore people and more competition but in reality it just means more pdga points.

And the 10m circle, if you like to know exactly whether you're inside or outside on your putts.

Is tomorrow still all long to gold baskets?

I think that's the right approach to take, just ignore the discussions you don't like.  Everyone's complaining about pointless posts, but "Been seeing alot of Rebel Flags" has over 1000 views since July 11th!  The previous black hole discussion about Matchboxx 64 also had a huge number of views.  It's clear there are quite a few forum users interested in reading the banter on those topics or contributing to the discussion.

We're going to ban people for counterproductive banter in the General Banter section?  Perhaps the board title should be renamed to Generally Productive Banter, and there could be a another board for Generally Unproductive Banter.

Have there been complaints from Parks and Recreation departments in the metro area that the content of this forum is damaging their relationship with the club?  As Utz mentioned, the content on this board is very very very tame compared to a variety of other forums or news article comment sections, so unless someone has been living under a rock, they've seen much worse on the internet.
