With players in the NFL and MLB coming out with the whole ROIDS craze. Not so sure that disc golfers are gonna get such a bad rap using alittle "game enhancer" every here and there. Besides not everyone who plays uses as in the other sports mentioned. Although Im not real big on sporting the ol leaf on shirts and hats. I think all that is alittle high schoolish.

Was driving down Roanoke yesterday east of 7 Highway and spotted some what looked like homemade baskets at the ele. school over there. Seemed to be all lined up in a row so assuming set up for the little kids... Good to see that kinda thing. Sure wish I had those when I was that age.

The reason that Im upset should be apparent. I got someone telling me that I had never asked for alittle info to help get a couse put in out here. I have been in contact by people who remain nameless that have told me they ran into the same issues. So if you were in my shoes maybe you would understand my frustration with the situation. I wouldnt have pointed fingers if I hadnt made contact with the guy before. This is not the case. Im not trying to win brownie points with anyone Im just trying to explain the situation. Is that not what a forum is for?

So...... I belive you've had enough time to read and weep there jacko.. You were the one who told me to NOT PRESS the issue and led on with "just because its not in your backyard". Yes you were met with someone wanting to put a course in at Leagacy park. That was me that you stiffed. Further more all I wanted from the KCFDC at the time was member numbers and tourny turn out numbers and all you gave me was your wonderful advice to "play other courses in the area". Well, being how we are in Lees Summit (NOT KC) I really dont understand where your jurisdiction ends? Its been rummored that you have stummped previous plans for courses in this area with your bright ideas. Well guess what chap we still dont have a course out here... Is it your fault???? hmmm certainly starting to appear that way.. Sure seems if you dont have your hand in it, Its not a good idea. Well guess what chief your not helping the disc golf community that I have grown to love over my 12 years in the sport. So either put up or shut up and let people do what they will to get courses where they believe it may help. Just because you have "COURSES IN YOUR BACKYARD" doesnt mean everyone else wants to play with golfers of your likeing. Im in the sport for fun and have been since the start. Not for the rep and credit that obviously feeds your feeble mind. :o

HMMM seems quite strange that I was trying to get this together last may and was told there was no plan whatsoever to put a course in Legacy Park and I had typed up a proposal that took quite a bit of my own time doing price research with all the bells and whistles. Along with newspaper articles and stats. When I contacted the KCFDC for alittle help I was met with some harsh words. Telling me not to push the issue.... But I see now that its someone elses idea we are supposed to come out in full force to PUSH the issue... Thanks for the support before. I have a feeling if I would of went ahead with my efforts we could already be playing out there today.. But whatever I guess others know best. Once again thanks for all your support last may!!!!! :'(
