Winter Leagues / 3/8 Last Glow of the season

The flu bug is going around,Ted and Neenon were both sick.22 out for the last glow of the season.Comfortable temps very light winds .The talk before hand was about the acepot going down,alas Nobody hit.So with 22 in, the $1107.00 will go back to the closet until next glow season.Not sure on the details for next thurs,but I am sure Ted will let us know.

Tournaments / Sharks in the Water Doubles May 18,19th Old Pike and Waterworks

Just wanted to get the word out this event is moving along.Working on a Title sponsor right now and ready to announce some big news!I will have all the info posted next week and will start taking registrations.At this point we will have a good chunk of added cash to all divs,great raffle prizes ,great beer ,great food ,great camping,Great bonfire, Great Pool ,Just maybe a chance to win alot of $$$$$!

Old Pike / Old Pike Tournament Sept 18

Myself and Ken Franks will be running a one day event on Sept 18th.This is the day after the Cliff Drive event.We are working on a bunch of cool stuff for this tourney.It will be an event you dont want to miss.Here are some of things we are working on.Camping ,pool party,Glow mini golf,Food ,Adult beverages!!!.Did I mention pool party?
At this time trying to decide should we sanction it or not?

Water Works / League results 4/14

20 people out for a windy nite at WW.Winds were nothing to 25 miles an hour from all directions.No rain till we finished.Arturo Bogey free ,Billy wins masters with 4 out of 5 birds 4 thru 9 missed 8.not sure what the ace is but no one hit it.

Only 10 showed up for a chilly evening.41 degrees with a cool breeze.Course was set Fairly short.We played from all short tees with no mandos ,But the obs were in effect.
