I know the guys I play with always ask does the music bother anybody.I think I would like music on the card way better then the guy with earbuds in who cant hear you talk to him.
Really League play to me is fun and relaxing love the music.The serious golf is on the weekends.If we are gonna start bieng serious then we shouldnt get to make our own cards anymore.

Ok the Title sponsor for this event will be Twisted Flyer from OKC.Joe is a old friend of mine who runs great events ,has a great selection of merch and always makes his events super fun !
 We are working on the flyer now,It looks like we are going to add a good chunk of $$$$$ to the Pro divs and working on players packs for the ams.

We have decided to also run a 1 round X-D tier event at Old Pike on Fri.Sponsorship is coming along nicely !This is gonna be a great weekend,Put your Team together and start practicing these fun and sometimes difficult formats.

Just wanted to get the word out this event is moving along.Working on a Title sponsor right now and ready to announce some big news!I will have all the info posted next week and will start taking registrations.At this point we will have a good chunk of added cash to all divs,great raffle prizes ,great beer ,great food ,great camping,Great bonfire, Great Pool ,Just maybe a chance to win alot of $$$$$!

I have been trying to get ahold of Jeremy for over a month now,Phone calls to the store No return calls,I have talked to the people that will be running the store here No return calls from Jeremy.I have tried to leave a voice message a text message.And still no return calls.

I hope the future of the relationship with DD and the KCFDC goes better then the experiance that I am having.

As fast as the KC area is growing it is super hard to play the same courses every year.Isnt that why we put new ones in the ground so hopefully they will be used for tourneys !

I hope if this does go thru ,We have a contract in place ,amount of money givin to the club,proper signage on the courses,cleanup after the events ,well published advertising ahead of time.All the things we as a club would do.I am guessing the reason we would even think about letting someone else come in ,is to do things much bigger and better then we would do it.

Also are we taking bids from other companies I know at least 5 other people who want to come to KC and run events.

I am not opposed to the idea,I have just been on both sides in the past and have seen what has happened in other Cities in how they have dealt with this issue.

Having said all that ,I fully trust that our BOD will use every resource they have to make this vote the best for KC golf both now and for the future.

I think letting someone else come in an run events that we as a club should be doing will help disc golf in our area.Will it help the club that remains to be seen.What direction is the club heading?I am glad this is bieng talked about in a open forum as this is MAJOR vote the board is going to vote on soon.And it will have an impact for years to come.I like DD and think they put on great event but I also think a club this size should be running a lot of bigger events in the area.
