Prairie Center / A disc golfers dream home!
« on: June 18, 2013, 04:52:15 PM »
So buyers backed out and leaves us in a little jam or I would not post this about our house.  The listing does not state that our house is 1.4 miles away from Prairie Center Disc Golf Course and 1.4 miles away Lakeside Hills Disc Golf Course! Our best feature.  http://www.kansascityhomes.com/Olathe/900-S-MONTCLAIRE-Dr-Olathe-KS_66061/1832863.aspx

Prairie Center / Thanks to everyone who donated disc

Thanks to all who donated disc to Rolling Ridge - 28 disc in all.  Disc golfers are generous people.

I will not be able to come to league on Tuesday, but Shanon will pick up the disc in my place. Thanks.

Lighter is better.  I am more concerned about getting 29.

Lakeside Hills / Needed old disc for local school
« on: May 04, 2013, 08:00:58 AM »
The PE teacher at Rolling Ridge is asking for discs so he can teach disc golf at Rolling Ridge Elementary.  I have seven and we need 20 more.  Please bring them to league at Prairie Center League and I will collect them.  The are needed by Monday 13th.

Or call me at 816-686-5960.  Or drop them by my house at 900 S Montclaire.  Or drop them off at the school during school hours.

The disc can be in any condition, but they need to be a mid-range or putter for safety reasons.

Thanks for spreading the disc golf love.

Hemme loves reading golf books and highly suggested The Inner Game of Golf. .

Utz - You will love this this book.  It discusses practice routines and the mental approach to winning.

had a drop in for an 18

Wish I could have a drop in for an 18.

I had a sweet 12 on old 13 at PC.  I counted it as 4 pars on one hole  ???.  I made my put!  Thankfully Cooper witnessed the momentous event and kept tally for my score.

What time and what course will you play first?

Cooper,

I stopped the full reach back from a Hemme suggestion.  I lost some distance, but I gained more command.  I am not as accurate or consistent with a full reach back.  Heck, I am not accurate or consistent.  I would love to incorporate more reach back into my game.  I would love to incorporate more consistency  and accuracy.  I would love...  Suggestions on how the heck Will throws with full reach back and accuracy is appreciated.
