Gorgeous evening for disc golf at USM. Pretty much everyone had some killer shots and played some good golf last night, but one guy in particular had a stellar round.

New course record! Andy Jewett with ten birdies and one bogie for a 9 under 45. Nice shootin' Andy!

Every basket I've ever seen stolen had a damaged lock laying nearby. #16 at Clover Dell in Sedalia had a padlock that had been cut with bolt cutters and the lock had been left laying nearby. #11 at WyCo, same story, padlock in two pieces left by the empty pin. #4 at WyCo (twice) once there was a lock that had been hit with a hammer to pop it open and the next time a lock that had been cut with a hacksaw. This one shows no evidence of being cut so either someone had a key or possibly they hit it just right with a hammer depending on what type of lock it is. I'm no locksmith but I don't think it's very easy to pick a high quality padlock.

these stats are meaningless, should be tabulating driving distance, fairways made, greens in regualtion,
%accuracy from 20, 30, 40, 50+, you know what the cool stuff is, track it!

Yeah, you try that while drinking beer and enjoying yourself....   ::) I just select the course and players at the beginning of the round then try to remember to type in the scores after each hole. It does the rest.  8)

Awesome Tuesday evening at USM. We even got some students involved this week and let them try their skill throwing downhill on #15. One of the guys had played before and did pretty well, the other guy, not so much....

Rectangle?

I plan to play some disc golf at USM and end up at a wrecked angle....  (not really, but a couple of beers won't hurt)

There will be a special Wednesday edition of USM Disc Golf this evening. We plan to tee off around 5:45. Join us if you like.

 8) 8)

It was a fine evening for disc golf at USM last Wednesday with six showing up and five playing all 18 it looked like this....

Travis Daetwiler - 50
Andy Jewett - 54
Tony Todd - 55
Mark Hogins - 59
Kevin Montgomery - 63 (ouch)
Rick Gurski - 33 (on the front nine - DNF the back)

Tonight looks like it's going to be excellent disc golf weather but a tad breezy. It you aren't hitting one of the other fine leagues in the area come on up and join us. It's beer and bag tags at USM - zero entry fee. Although I think we do need to start building an ace fund. There hasn't been on in a while. 51 club is in effect as always.

Sonafab%tch....  I could swear I just read something from that curmudgeon calling himself Mike Hyzer that actually seemed like he was trying to give off the warm fuzzies....

We love you too Mike!   ;D

The term "beer geeks" comes to mind. Is that a thing or did I just make it up?

I love beer and fancy myself to be bit of a connoisseur but some of you guys are on the next level. It's bad when you drink as much fine beer as I do but read a post like Rob's and have no idea what he's talking about for the most part. I had to look up randalling....  I could share it with other baffled beer drinkers but what fun is that...  ;D

It does sound like something I need to try...  8)

I enjoy a cold Miller Lite. They got my business with the aluminum bottle. Great to be able to take a drink, put the lid on, stuff it in your bag and forget about it knowing it won't spill. But I'll pass it by for something from Green Flash any day.

At least we're not talking about being posers like those money grubbing Yankees.....

Pretty sure it died of natural causes when almost everyone participating packed up and headed to Emporia.
