My apologies, is it not OK for me to post an A-tier here? If it's not, I'll happily delete the post. Thanks.

You are more than welcome to post your A-tier here with our club. Pay no attention to the trolls.  ::)

You never know when someone might see it and find it the perfect opportunity for a road trip. Good luck with the event.

Next board meeting is next Monday the 10th where among other things the league schedule will be discussed/approved/etc.

Not to be picking nits or anything but Monday is the 9th.

Where will the meeting be held?

Tournaments / Re: 2015 Kan-U-WYCO thread?
« on: March 02, 2015, 09:57:44 am »
Good question....  It may have been deleted but the only ones that are authorized to delete a thread are one of the four admins or the person who originally created it. There is a feature to retain deleted posts in a recycle bin that was not turned on. I have configured that so if this happens again the deleted posts can be recovered. But the Kan-U-Wyco thread appears to be gone permanently.

Anyone know who may have removed it?

General Banter / Re: Courses you never played before

So many courses I have played in the area it's almost embarrassing.....  The list in order of my desire to check them out....

1. Perry Lake
2. The two courses I have played yet at Smithville
3. BRC in Liberty
4. Kearney
5. Foxhill
6. MWSU (St. Joe is a great place to visit I don't need much of a reason, just time)
7. McClouth
8. Baldwin City
9. Every course I am forgetting within a couple of hours of work or home....   8)

It's glorious to have so many options these days. I distinctly remember having only three.... and one of those was a goofy thing at the water park.

Can't we just give Texas back to Mexico already?  What a shame.  These people need to be banned from tourneys all together.

Paging Billy Nelson... paging Dave Hemmeline.....  Hmm... someone from Texas just registered for the forum. Perhaps this will get even more interesting.   8)

USM / Re: USM Ace Fund League - 2014

The first day for USM league this season will be Tuesday March 10th at 5:30pm. That's the first Tuesday after Daylight Saving Time goes into affect.

I responded to your message. We can definitely discuss a CTP addition to league this season.

We're also working on enhancing the course to make it more permanent and hopefully expand it to a full eighteen baskets at some point.

There was a box on the sign-up sheet saying if you were playing the final 9 or not so the TD's for the satellite events should have somewhat of a headcount (except for those who checked "unsure").

Glad someone thought of it...  That will help for sure.

I think it would be helpful if all those running the satellite events could have a check-box or something to have players acknowledge whether they intend to show up for the final nine round or not. I suspect many players at the satellite rounds may plan on not making it to Rosedale. Making up cards and planning on them showing up will be a waste of time. If we can get a headcount in advance of those not planning to be there for the final nine it would save a lot of time and effort.

still a douche bag law, I say thank a squid - he may just give you discount and respond with kindness

I must admit, I sure don't want to go into most of the ponds I've put discs in. Pretty nasty water and mud. I do think having a rake or something like that at larger tournaments and retrieving discs as a service to the players would be a nice touch. Let smaller events and casual players take their chances but when you pay a sizable entry fee why not have someone do their best to retrieve discs if possible for the players that paid the fee and drove the distance to attend? Obviously this wouldn't be expected but it would be a nice touch. Possibly even hire the squids with the talent and experience to do the deed for a fee. Come to think of it, in Hays at the Frontier Open there are frequently kids there ready to retrieve discs for players. They almost always make a healthy sum of cash for their trouble.
